I find the weekly weigh in keeps me in control of my diet, I have stopped going to SW atm due to my hip surgery but will go back as its a good incentive to keep going with it, and I dont have to pay (or I didnt when I last went as I am at my target) this may have changed but if its free no reason not too,

I do weigh myself each week on my bathroom scales then log it in a iphine app so i can see the change and red lines and green lines which also keeps me balanced as I can see a graph for a month and allows me to see if it balances out over the month, as i find it hard looking week to week...

keep going hun and like everyone has said you have iron willpower and some kind of super power with cleaning so I'm sure that will manifest itself into your diet too..

Restless legs :( not letting me settle.

Have just taken my usual evening handful of pills and thought how pitiful it was since I didn't even add in one of the new ones...

  • morning lilt just catching up. Good luck on the new diet, I hope you manage to lose the weight. I lost 2 stone when I went on SW after ds2 was born. I've since put back on 1 stone :o but I think my SW goal was perhaps a little unrealistic, just because I was 9st at 25 didn't mean I was supposed to be 9st at 35 :rotfl: so i've since relaxed a little on that and would love to get to 10st (so I do have a few lbs to lose still ). One of the main things to help kick start my diet was giving up sweetners, aspartame, sucralose and whatever else they call it. No matter how much I pig out on now I never ever hold on to the weight like I did when I was drinking diet coke, squash and other things with the sweetners in.

Are one of those tablets causing the restless legs? I was on prozac and it caused it for me, it's horrible so I sympathise a lot with you on that one :(. hugs xx

Oh Lilty, sorry to hear you've been having a rather rubbish time of it. The diet does sound extremely hard to stick to, but I guess the result of (hopefully) not having the awful migraines is a huge incentive.

If anyone can do it, you can! :)

P.S. The PP parcel has made it all the way downstairs and closer to the front door... :o

I got sent home early from work today, so I am waiting at the doctors to be seen for a doctors note as work dont want me back till I can speak, Im still crossing my fingers that is just a virus.

When I arrived I was cornered by the pharmacist who said that they tried to deliver my painkillers on Friday and I can take them now while I was there...

so collected the bag of painkillers...

wonder if the doctor will add to it - I hope not....

hope some or all of those pills have made a difference for you....

That looks just like my painkillers bag ;) hahaha!! We are a right pair. Am feeling very antsy and nibbly. I lack control in the area of my brain that thinks I should be eating ALL of the things ALL of the time. I want chocolate and banana bread. Not good.

    Total meltdown.

Averted with a 650 gram pack of diced turkey being cooked then coated gently in soy and sesame oil. Tasty and feel much better now. Cravings.. I hate them! But I shouldn't be such a sugar addict eh ;)

Just so you know I didn't eat all of the turkey, even if it was touch and go for a while there ;) there are 2 snack packs ready for work in the fridge. A third of 650 grams isn't so bad eh? ;) Plus side, totally carb free bar the tiny amount in the sesame oil. And I am talking eenyweeny. I wonder if I could just start snacking on cooked meat. Seems like such a man thing to do.

:rotfl: I am freaking nuts. For sure. But no more nuts than my friend who has such an aversion to spiders that she has hired a skip for a day to launch all of her old junk from the loft etc because she is frightened of spiders being in her car :rotfl:

Hi lilt and guys, I'm also wanting to eat all of the things if this helps?

Where do you keep your pills? I have one of these to store them but I'd like any better ideas.

...I have run out of steam. x

    Lilt

What about quinoa? I think that is low carbs. I add that to my bolognese so I don't have to have pasta with it. I call it bolognese soup.

I've been reading and keeping up to date, just not very posty at the moment.

Interesting about the migraine's. I suffer too but, touch wood, haven't had one for a few months, but when I get them they are stonkers. Mind, it would probably help if I signed up to the doctor's now that I have been moved for six months.

Snacking on meat sounds ideal! But do ensure you eat enough at proper mealtimes to FILL YOU UP properly, young lady.

Will send you my Primal Blueprint book x
