Yikes!!!!
Delurkers, sometimers, old-timers and bestests - I love you all!!!
My inconvenient guests arrived just after 4 :rotfl: OF COURSE. They brought with them 3 giant bags of sweets for me... :rotfl: and a card with cash in because I am allergic to so much of the stuff she has bought me previously that she honestly thought it was wiser spent by me. Not complaining! After what I just read on Ali-OK's diary methinks it can go into a pension for Jellytot!! :rotfl: - they were polite and took the hint that we were going for dinner and left after an hour which only put us slightly off track!
My meal out was a total success for me. Hilarious as it may sound to you all, I had a 'large mixed grill' which involved so many types of meat I lost track, and a fried eggand chips and onions rings that I quickly shoved off the plate onto Jelly
I also had half a grilled tomato and a mushroom. And a diet coke which while processed and not *great* was not BAD. The only issue it poses is whether it gives me sugar cravings. Nothing yet but I am armed and ready with a busy day ahead of me tomorrow to kick it again if it arises
I got for my birthday... a new dinner set and some pasta/soup plates which match it but didn't come with it. I also got an amazing and cute japanese lunch box which either cools or heats depending on what you put into the three bento-boxes which fit inside like sardines! (Thanks to my mummy for those!) and I got two new face creams, one with a SPF 20 and the other an extra moisturising one for the nights I don't use my 1% retinol creamThose are from just about the only brand that fails to elicit a strong and horrible reaction in me which is called 'Avene' for anyone who wants to know. (Thanks to Him & Jelly)
My sister bought me a fabbydabbydoo Joe Browns top which I wore today and was both cool and flattering! And the in-laws I told you earlier. Lovely stuff indeed, I have been spoiled!
I spent the evening after my dinner watching the preliminary fights followed by the main card of last nights UFC which I recorded, and it was BRILLIANT :T and have made Jelly's lunch for tomorrow and cleaned up the kitchen then had a shower and washed my hairall ready to process myself out of the house in the fastest time possible tomorrow because I have a trip to nursery, followed by a trip to a dental hygienist, followed by a long walk to the Dr's to hand in a prescription request for some stuff not on repeat and then a walk back via the pharmacy to get my usual bag of pills.
Whilst at the Dr's I am going to weigh in again on the machine that gave me the shameful results last Monday morning around 10:20am. And hope for a slightly smaller number since I have been so very good. I know it is for migraines but I really need to lose some serious weight.
Then home, process my receipt for the hygienist online as my year end deadline is coming up. Followed by kondo-ing the washing and ironing my work stuff and Jelly's stuff and a couple of my tops that need it. Put some more washing on and then.. finally.. SIT. Hopefully for a couple of hours before it all starts again when I get Jelly from nursery. It is my first day to myself in what feels like forever. Funny how Him being here of a weekend sets me so off balance, it is so rare.
Anyways. I said I was just coming on to say Hi and here I am, twittering on as always!
Have a good nights sleep everyone, and thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I feel rather overwhelmed!!xxxx

A belated Happy Birthday from me, sounds like you got some good presents and had a nice day. The in-laws even (kind of) behaved for once.
