Really sorry to hear the news of your Pop :( But as far as fast, dignified and pain free endings go, that has to be one of the best.. which may be of some consolation for all involved, I sincerely hope.

I'm glad you seem to otherwise be having a nice beaster day for Jellytot in the House of Lilt with lots of peter eggs :)
Hope the lamb is yummy xx

Aww lilt, I'm sorry to hear about pop, but happy to hear it was peaceful. (I want to convey sympathy, please imagine I said exactly the right thing)

Well done to him! Hope this means that you and he will get yourselves a little celebration dinner (on him) :T

Oh your flat must be... febreeze-y. :o But yay for jellytot feeling better now and all the sorting. I still have a Peter Rabbit book on my bookcase.

    Happy Easter x
  • I'm so sorry to hear about your Pop :(. I agree with Levi though that as far as passings go, it sounds like it would have been quick, calm and painless. I certainly hope so. I also hope your Mum and Nanny are ok. Big hugs to you.

Jelly's Beaster sounds awesome! I'm sure her egg hunts etc have helped take her mind off her poorly bot bless her. Xx

Lilty, I only popped in to see how Jelly was today - I'm so sorry to hear about your Pop. So sad, expected or not. Thinking of you all, and hope your mum finds the strength she needs to cope with everything.

    Man I love you guys.

Peaty it was just the right thing.

Everyone thank you so much for your kind thoughts. I am feeling worse this evening as it sinks in. I have kept myself busy all day but as soon as Jelly was in bed and after rattling around by myself for a bit I feel rather hollowed out. My grandparents had been married for over 60 years. I don't think my nanny will be long in following him. At least I hope not for her own sake and for my mum and my uncle. It is a huge burden especially for mum right now when she is just too ill and fighting her own battle.

Lamb dinner was lovely. Jelly ate precisely none of her dinner but dipped 4 yorkshire puddings into her gravy and ate those. I despair some days. I did enough veg to feed the 5000. My biggest tupperware is crammed full :rotfl: that is tomorrows dinner sorted. Have confirmed in laws not staying for dinner now. Always the same, I get the info either late the night before or the same day. :wall:

Right I should have been asleep hours ago but a combination of the 4th load of washing still being on and needing to be hung out, and my mood have kept me awake. Trying to sleep now. Night night all xxxx
