Soooo...
Last night was tiring. Spent a few hours on the rocking chair in her room with her snuggled on me fast asleep. I didn't sleep. She then got up about 1:30am and stayed up for an hour, but eventually she got into bed and stayed in her own bed until 6 this morning. So up we got and at about half 9 she asked to have a hot water bottle and go back to bed. Gave her a bottle of watered down milk and she was fast asleep until 20 to 12 :j so I had a bit of a nap too
She was MUCH better the second time she woke up. We have together made some lovely sticker and felt tip pictures, and I have got all of her toys kondoed. By CATEGORY, not room. So books first, all pulled out across the house and discarded the battered ones and those that are no use whatsoever like the numbers to 5? She's been counting to 20 for a nearly a year :rotfl: Then the wooden puzzles she has outgrown. In our building we have a freecycle going on. You put something out and if it isn't gone in 24 hours then no one wants it and it is to the charity or the bin- The puzzles, a tent and a crawling tunnel and a little keyboard disappeared sharpish! Put some soft toys out and they have gone too
have also gone through our three bags and 2 boxes of craft stuff and sorted it all out. If now fills one solid bag and a drawer.
So... everything put back in a different order. Books altogether for once and boy do we have a lot :rotfl: - lots of jigsaws and then the mega blocks on the next shelf up. Finally the little chest of plastic drawers full of toys got emptied out. Threw away anything broken, too small or useless. Quite a lot...:o:o one drawer has the aforementioned craft stuff but nothing that she can trash the house with
lots of paper and crayons and stickers. The paint etc all away in the bag in the cupboard.
Finally... emptied out the toys from under my bed and :j it is now clear. Some went under madams bed (her slide!!) but most went to the freecycle pile. Best of all, her furniture is back in her room, and all of her toys are either in her playroom area or in her bedroom and very tidy!! Just in time for her birthday next week when people will pile in endless more stuff!
Jelly has eaten some toast in spurts today, brown seeded bread, with a scrape of marmite so not entirely trash but she has kept it down and nothing disastrous has happenedseems to be when she lies down the issues occur though so lets see.
Him arrived. he has got the promotion!!:D I am utilising the time he is here to get myself dressed and out to grab some bits from the shop as we are entirely out of bread and I just can't face baking. Nor can I really face cooking. Pizza might be calling. Only shop bought. I blame dfw :rotfl:
Back later when madam is in bed and I have been to the shop and sorted some food:T

well Lilt since you've done such a marvellous job of jellys toys, please come and sort dudes.... pretty please!!!
I've just about sorted and knodo'd his clothes, which all now nicely fit into his chest of drawers. I wonder if there is a kondo option for nappies as they ermmm the up more drawer space than all of his actual clothes!!!
Glad jelly has kept some toast down, and well done him for the promotion.
I am also going to blame you for the underwear that is in my ever growing online basket right now. All the talk of new clothes and I couldn't put it off any longer. Especially since I worked out the last lot I bought was when my mum got her sky subscription which came with a £100 m&s gift voucher, she treated me and that was 6 years ago!!!January 2015 - LBM

Ahoy!!
:D
I didn't have pizza, I had one of the 3 for £6 ready meals and some cheesy garlic bread and it was lush!!
Also there was 25% off my £12.50 jeggings so I bought 2 more pairs as I have lived in them since I bought them!
Last night saw jelly go to bed at half 7 and not wake until 7 this morningBy which time I was more than happy to get up as I went to bed at about half 8!! :rotfl:
Today I have finally sucked it up and scrubbed all of the sick bedding and clothes that were soaking in various bowls and buckets. Dumped it all into the bath then ran a hot bath of persil, vanish and soda crystals and scrubbed it all with my rubber gloves on. The bathwater was a horrifying colour, but it is all mostly stain free thank goodness and anything remaining should come out in the hot wash it is about to endure!!
I've also gotten all of the whites washed and dried this morning and all of the darks just finished washing and have been hung out on the airers in my bedroom with the windows wide open to let in this lovely sun and fresh air. The rest of the house smells of l-a-m-b... Not saying that in the presence of such beauties up there!!needless to say it wasn't the roadkill but a whole new leg. Seems silly to cook it for just me and the small but Him and his parents are coming after he finishes work tomorrow and as it will be a late one (4:15 finish) I thought they might want feeding. This will do but I am not cooking it tomorrow all for them
his dad is a pig. So if it is there, he will strip it bare. He can have leftovers
Bought some icing (ready made:o:o) and am attempting a homemade peppa pig  as I was quotes £43 for a one tier cake!! You're having a giraffe I said. No, they said. Ok bye I said... :rotfl: I am sure a round cake with a peppa pig traced from the TV won't be so bad. Jelly will be happy as long as it is vaguely recognisable
Jelly is much better this morning. Impossible to fill up. Still got some bad tummy issues, but going down not up. her bum is literally an open wound at the momentbless her, very sore. We have staged 3 Easter egg hunts and counting so far :rotfl: - she is loving it, and keeps bringing me the bag full of chocolates and emptying them out to 'play hide and seek mummy!' - Best bit was when she told Daddy 'Happy Beaster' on FaceTime, and then told him all about her 'Peter Eggs' :rotfl: Love her..
Last news of the morning... My mum phoned this morning. My Pop has died. He woke up this morning when the staff went in to sit him up. They asked how he was and he did his usual shrug and pulled a face as he has been in a lot of pain recently. They opened the curtains and started tidying his room, and he took a breath and was gone, instantly. No pain, just a very peaceful end. Bless him. I've been expecting it for a long time, but it makes me very sad. Mostly I am worried for my mum in her fragile state trying to deal with my Nanny. She went and told her in person today and Nanny was very good. Mums then been to the home to see him and sort out the funeral home taking his body. And she has then driven over to his sister who lives a long way away and is 90 (older sister) to tell her in person. She is then driving across as planned to my sisters.
Funny story, mum told me not to say anything to my sister as she was going to tell her in person. Of all the days to do so when she never normally does, my sister text me a couple of hours later... 'Hey, how are you? xxx'
My response was... 'Hey you, I'm ok, why do you ask? xxx' frantically texting mum asking if she had told her. Sister replied 'Duh! Mum just rang me...! xxx' My response started with an expletiveand then told her mum had told me not to say anything as she was going to tell her in person. Luckily sister found it hilarious, as well as the lamb roadkill story which she had not yet heard, (and shows you how often we speak!
) Mum eventually text me back 2 hours after that!! :rotfl:
So... a mixed bag today. All well in this house. Except I need to get the veg on if I plan on eating anything except for aforementioned cute meat.xxx
P.S HarrysMummy I am also to blame for £250 of spending on clothes on DFW's thread:o:o your underwear sounds like mine

Hi Lilty, I'm so sorry to hear about your Pop, very sad news. My thoughts are with you.
I was thinking about the cake and what about a plain ake, pink icing with a cake topper of peppa pig, ebay do a few different ones.
