Totally forgot to say. Last night I went with jelly to get cash out for the chinese. She let me put my pin in.. then quick as a flash hit the £100 withdrawal :o:o:o - it didn't do anything for a few seconds and I thought I got away with it, till it started churning counting money and I ended up with £100 instead of the £10 I needed. Sigh. I hate holding cash!

Thank goodness it was my naughties/savings account so has a very healthy balance DFW!! I kind of stood there in complete shock holding a fistful of notes when I hadn't even taken my whole purse with me :rotfl: it was very funny. Will have to go and put it back in. Otherwise it will disappear on junk. xx

Not even sure what you mean there hun. I have multiple tabs open all the time. Cmd & T opens a new one, and use two fingers scrunched in to show them all side by side then just scrunch out on the tab I want to go to next? Is that any use?

Oooh I'm good  LOL. I didn't think that was what you meant but hey! Whatever works ;)

So I have spent my evening playing on Spotify after getting an unsettled little person to bed an hour *later* thanks to the clocks. Such confusion reigns in my house today!

It has been an NSD. Combination of horrific weather, milk eking out until tomorrow (for Jelly) and trying to get the house sorted so I can chill a little bit the next 2 days because then Jelly is off for over 2 weeks and I have 2 birthdays this month in our house, plus my parents coming so it is not going to be very easy to find a second to myself until the end of April.

Then again my "me time" tomorrow consists of going shopping then glossing a floor to ceiling cupboard white :rotfl:

Jelly.. has been on and off good and naughty. Much as you would expect. We have not had the tremendous meltdowns of a few days ago but she still cannot be trusted to not trash something the second she doesn't get her own way. The gates are working though. Peace of mind knowing regardless of whether she gets up or not in the night she can't drag her chair into the kitchen. That reminds me, she has dragged it to her bedroom to turn the light on at 4am 2 nights in a row. Must put that in the kitchen overnight!

What she has done which has me a lot :eek::eek: is bitten her wrists black and blue. It looks like I have had her hanging from chains by her wrists for 48 hours straight. Her temper tantrums have nothing to throw currently due to there being nothing really around to throw that satisfies her. So this started. I was bathing her, looking at her wrists in complete shock. Actual teeth marks in big circles all the way around the top of each wrist. I am genuinely concerned that nursery are going to report me. It is THAT bad. Help?!?!

Am feeling a lot healthier now my sinus has cleared. Made a fantastic (and enormous) chilli con carne earlier and had some with rice, yoghurt and a sprinkle of sumac :) excellent! Have a full takeaway container of cooked red lentils. Overdid them a bit, klutz :rotfl: but I also have my biggest tupperware tub full of chilli. Best portion it up and freeze some.

Next month is my batten down the hatches. I need to scrimp every last penny I can manage :) I should have about £190 coming to me from the sale of something I have been trying to get rid of for ages. Will help a bit with the deficit. I really need to get my finger out and start listing some of the baby stuff I have around.

Anyway off to continue listening to the amazing Imagine Dragons, and write a shopping list. Night guys xxxx

    hey Lilt,
this clock change day is always such a weird one isn't it? both ways around I always find it feels all over the place! Sorry from the horror of Jelly's wrists.... I wouldn't worry about the nursery as I'm sure they have encountered this before, but if it will put your worry at ease I'd speak to them when you take her tomorrow and let them know about the changes at home and the extreme tantrums which have caused the frustration to harm herself - its pretty common really, I've heard loads of kids of this age do it in the temper/frustration and you have removed access to all her usual strategies ! Have it out in the open with them and then you won't have the worry of what they might think. I'm sure they will look a lot better tomorrow anyway, especially the teeth marks. Luca has bitten his arm in a temper - once to the point where I thought he was going to remove a chunk of flesh. He did it a few times during the 2s... but it died out quickly.. so I think they realise quite soon the only person it hurts it themself and if you ignore it too, there is no reaction to feed off either. I'm quite fortunate that he doesn't lash out at all physically these days with himself or on anything else which is a relief... but i really do feel for ya having a tough time of it with jelly...how does she feel about the new gates?
I'm sure there will be enough good times in the crazy April to make it all worthwhile, hang in there:) If its any consolation it is now almost 10:30 and my 4yr old is wide awake with no sign of tiredness, we got up SO late.. and he even napped late afternoon (habit) despite telling me he was "meditating" lol where does he even get this stuff? FGN is looking after him in the morning, she'll have a great time if he gets no sleep tonight (NOT) xx

    Goodnight Lilty,

~I would agree with the advice from Levi about telling the nursery ahead of time that would be fair better option then being confronted at a later stage and then saying "ah yes meant to tell you' also I'm sure the teeth marks will disappear overnight its the same kind of mark that you get when you find an elastic band or hair band around your wrist, its looks like a deep crease but then

voila - its gone when you wake....

I hope you get a good night sleep tonight, you too Levi..

Ba Humbug the weekend is nearly over.....
