LDL a sorry been lurking & really sorry to hear about your client. Suicide is so much sadder than death itself.
Ditto to surviving the horror of kids. I learnt to snarl from one side of my mouth while the other bit smiles at everyone but my kids.
My D probably took 30 years to become normal but I found locking either one of us in the garage helped.
You sound exhausted so I really hope you can enjoy your days off. Just remember they are adorable when silent or somewhere else.

Hi lilt, jelly sounds like a little nightmare at the moment! Hope her being sweet is here for the long term. I am also sorry about the client, I don't really know what to say.

*snorts*
Yes October I didn't go to bed till 1 something. Reminds me, must set clocks forward at 1. Aka when I go to bed way before that. Hate confusing myself at this time of year. On the plus side at least another week of madam staying in bed a bit later in the morning before I have to start taping her blind to the window frame again to keep her in bed :rotfl:
Westie you're welcome! I am feeling slightly weirded out. I am a lefty, how didst thou know? I come from a family of lefties despite it supposedly not being genetic. My brother and little sister are completely ambidextrous, whereas I am just proper special with my total lack of understanding on how to open cans, peel potatoes and cut with scissors. My mum cut the end of her finger off with her scissors once, so sharp are they. In my hands they are pro paper folders and nothing more. I've tried the left-handed versions of everything and somehow I am even worse with those. The only thing that worked quite well was my left handed cheque book. But I only ever needed to write one cheque in my life for the DVLA so.. yeah. Useless.
Peaty... a few hiccups today but swiftly dealt with. The naughty step is getting plenty of use
Am now the proud owner of two installed baby gates. One on the door to the kitchen/bathroom corridor stopping all access to those rooms, and stopping madam carrying her chair in to cause mega mischief in there. The other on the living room door, which means she can't get into my bedroom either. :T of course currently my bedroom is full of her stuff so that isn't practical :rotfl:
Before the gates went up she went in the bathroom, climbed (clothed) into the bath with her baby and then used that as a stepping stone to the top of the vanity unit, where she got my toothbrush and her toothpaste and combined the two to "brushing babies teefe mummy" - leaving me with a bathroom and child not to mention a mechanical doll covered in toothpaste and water :rotfl:
She awoke at 3:45am, took her chair into her empty room and used it to turn the light on. I followed her in to be greeted by the now usual bedding on the floor. I put it all back and popped her in, took the chair and hung it from a kitchen cupboard and told her in no uncertain terms that the net time she takes her bedding off her bed I am leaving her with none. She got up again and threw a strop on the floor but the bedding stayed on the bedand after I put her back a second time and said I was going to smack her leg if she got out again I heard nothing more until 8am :T:T:T
We had a fun day. Him had a very rare day off, so he came over and we took her to the park in the rain. Got some lovely videos of the two of them on the swing together and going down the slide. It was wet and slippery so with her on his lap the first time he went down he was incredibly fast and shot off the end, but managed to land on his feet holding Jelly, like some ninja. The second time, I so wish I had thought to get the camera. He shot off and landed on his bum. I nearly wet myself. :rotfl: and of course after that when I was filming he managed to stay uprightthen we were freezing cold so came back, dropping him for the train on the way back and Jelly threw a strop all the way back after leaving him. Hate when she gets upset like that about it. Usually she is fine.
We saw Fairy Godneighbour who we have only seen briefly. Turns out she has moved round the corner into her friends temporarily after having trouble with a drunk upstairs. My building honestly...
Have had nice dinner of leftover homemade chickpea curry after last nights epic chinese. Now snuggled in bed as madam was so pooped from her day she went to bed without a murmur at 6have a load of washing drying on the radiators, and another in the machine and thats it for my washing this week :j
Tomorrow we are making Easter Crowns. And maybe we will bake. Haven't in a couple of weeks now!
