Hey guys!!!
Sorry - I cannot believe.. I am on page 100 of my diary! I talk too much. You lot talk too much :rotfl: I love it really!!
Lmao at all these cronky old knees, hips, backs, legs and so on coming out of the closet. I reckon between us we could make one entire whole, well person. FrankenharrylevialiINODWestiestep :rotfl:
Day 4 of diet. I accidentally ate 3 of Jellys gingerbread men (the mini mcvities ones!) just now out of anger as she was being such a moose I had no reason to give them to her!!but that shall be my wee treat for the day
they are nice!
I've had a giant bowl of muesli and soya milk, a cup of coffee (sweetener and soya) and a cup of black tea with 1 sweetener, a big glass of water and 3.. yes 3... carrots chopped into sticks with 39% less fat pesto and 30% less fat houmousremarkably it fills me up like nothing else and apart from aforementioned gingerbread accident I won't snack until dinner time
Best get something sorted for dinner though!! Its all frozen currently  but I think it will be green lentils as they are already cooked but frozen. got some veggies to turn into soup too before it all has to be binned!
Jelly is a nightmare so we are doing a lot of exercise, obstacle courses, jumping, dancing etc etc. I will tire her outtoo too cold outside!!! xx

Lilty-- ref: gingerbread mens! I know they're a little pricey but are sometimes on a good offer - have you ever had those Organix (goodies range I think) gingerbread men? I got them a few times for L but it turned out I ate more of them than he did.. they are DAMM delicious and the best part of it, they have no sugar apart from natural grape juice so are really low in cals.. maybe you could have yourself a secret stash of those for urgent gingerbread moments
x Happy 100 pages!

And Jelly has a horrific reaction to the Organix ones. Something in them causes her griping tummy pains despite their organic, sugar free and supposedly dairy free status. Its funny that she has the exact same reaction to other things that state they contain dairy.. I wonder whether they be telling fibs or don't know that milk products contain dairy me wonders?
Am not really a fan of gingerbread. More of a dead fly biscuits/fig rolls girl.. with lashings of chocolate
And hence my problem and hence I won't be having any more gingerbread moments :rotfl:

Love me a fig roll I do, have to not buy them though, because the packet disappears!
I love reading your diary Lilt and the randomness of it. Like most I hate when I miss a day, few hours even and it rushes pages ahead.
I know you said you can't do swimming swimming but have you thought about taking Jelly swimming? It always used to whack me out? and i am sure she would tire herself out splashing around and jumping in maybe, xFeb NST #4

shy it is one of those things I have to admit to having done when she was small and then tapering off because my friends always wanted to go to a different one which a round trip to for me and Jelly cost £19 without even a coffee afterwards!
We have a fab local one at the sports centre and I have just signed her up to mini-movers and mini-tramps at the same place for the holidays so hopefully we can expend some energy. It is so hard keeping a balance because when she is poorly the last thing I can do is take her outside. then yesterday was the first fairly decent day she could have gone outside but my in-laws weren't up for it because 'they hadn't got any jobs to do in town' so it was a 'waste of their time' to take her out. And they didn't think that maybe getting out and to the park and not to wander round the post office paying bills might be more fun for Jelly? Then today it is so bitterly cold that we have had the heating on all day, unheard of. And I daren't take her out for long in it because she is still a bit chesty with a cough and still on the eyedrops till tomorrow. So have backed out of it again. I shall not be deterred tomorrow. We will bundle up like snowmen!
On the swimming front.. I should go with her. But my combination of psoriasis and mummy flab sees me needing a new swimsuit and some serious confidence. And that I don't really have. I know they aren't looking at me, I do. But it is the same thing anywhere.. I just feel embarrassed. I am working on myself. Swimming would be great for her. Her dad is frightened to death of water just like his mother taught him because she cannot swim. I am not carrying that particular tradition on!!!
Am sorry my diary rushes ever onwards people. Am aware of it.. but sometimes it is rather unstoppable!
jelly has just brought me her empty bolognese and pasta bowl. I checked the bin. Sure enough she has tipped it in. That is lunch refused and dinner tipped away. She's having nothing else until she eats properly.
off to find out what to do with the lentils I got out of the freezer. Why are the recipes for green lentils all so complex?!?! Or involve sausages?!

Went with a lentil and noodle soup. Smells amazing. Looks less so. Ah well, the proof is in the eating. It will take a while yet and I am hungry. Now to not commit my usual sin of eating my dinners worth of calories prior to actually siting down to dinner.

Aww Lilt, I am sorry you feel self conscious about swimming. Part of the reason I stopped was because I couldn't get over the fact that a swimming costume reveals almost everything. What's up with swimming costume designers who think that all women want to show their bums?
Not a fan of gingerbread, fig rolls or dead fly biscuits... I have failed you all.:rotfl:0 -
I feel the same in a swimming costume lilt. After baby number 3 the flab was just too much to contain. I ordered one from ebay in the end (a bravissimo one) which cost a small fortune but it had an inbuilt bra, it wasn't super low cut, it had inbuilt tummy pull-you-in-thingy-majigs and it helped my confidence no end
The reason I don't go swimming much any more isn't because of the swimming cossie issue it's now because the last time I went there were pubes swimming around with me and I was nearly sick everywhere with disgust
lol!
I don't have a dodgy hip (think the yoga helps with that massively) but i've got an awful neck and shoulder pain that i've had since I got whiplash 15 years ago and sometimes the pain just comes on for no reason and it takes weeks to goMy hubby jokes and tells me if I were a horse or a dog i'd have been put down years ago. Meany!

just popping in to say hi, sounds like we have all had a non swimming, gingerbread eating, yoga/pilaties moving, lentil soup cooking kinda day... they sound like the best days....
lets hope the weather warms up a tad, I'm not a fan of this bitey weather...
on the swimming cossie front I have a great all in one piece from speedo that is a short and top combo, which means my bum doesn't hang out but most importantly my scars on my hip are not on show as they are quite obvious now and I wouldn't feel comfortable in those high leg type of costumes now, bought from TK Max,
hope we all have some great plans for sunday XXI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Hey to all Lilty fans
I can't keep up with the pace but love coming in to see you all.
Sorry to hear you and Jelly have been poorly, it sounds like she is getting better if you're trying to find things to wear her out
I've wandered into the Kondo page! Last weekend I Kondoed my underwear drawers, I don't need to buy any tights for a while but could do with some black pants and a decent black bra! I haven't done my clothes properly, but I have started folding things differently and discovered that I have no joy for a top I've tried on twice in a week! Think I want to do it properly tomorrow I don't think I really need anything new but I definitely need to thank some stuff :rotfl:
