Are you taking the actual P?! Well we weren't the only one feeding them! There were 2 ducks interested, dozens of seagulls (shall I feed them frozen peas too? :rotfl:) and hundreds of pigeons (chickens) who we crumbled it up small for.
I know you shouldn't feed hedgehogs milk and cat food, like we did when I was a kid. But frankly we could have this argument about any animal. Where would a horse get polo mints from in the wild hmm?
Diet tbh Westie is about calories. And adding up my day, I came to less than 1000 calories even with that since I didn't eat anything else other than the bits mentioned. So because I don't want to be shouted at by myfitnesspal for the second day in a row for not eating enough I have munched down a fat mint magnum. #notevensorry :rotfl:

Your day sounds awesome! Love finding new parks etc, especially good ones
. Sorry your weather was less than brilliant though. We've had sun today, hopefully it will be down your way soon.
I also heard the no bread for ducks thing. Xx

TBH Lilty I can't actually play that game as today I have eaten two rounds of toast with chocolate spread, a bag of mix up crisps, five jaffa cakes a mint cornetto and probably about three cans of diet coke, not looking forward to my self weigh in tomorrow,
back to work and back to eating after work and not every five seconds,
yes I never thought about sinking peas but you are right, I suppose the ducks don't give them chance to sink????

Bollox to feeding ducks frozen peas.- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

I've just caught up with all the hips, knees, frozen peas and pasty thighs - the last one I can sympathise with big time. I don't do swimming for this very reason... don't get me started on the back of the thighs either
Lilty, you're putting me to diet shame. Since Thurday night, I have been out for an indian and had a chinese takeaway. Surely the carrot sticks, fat free yoghurts, crunchy bran and oodles of fruit cancel that out though right?
I am being angelic today and have bought all healthy food to work and plan on some homemade soup for dinner tonight. If I can be arsed to make it.
Hope Jelly has calmed down a bit, forgotten all about her seemingly new obsession with fray bentos pies and house-Lilty is free from all germs today.
Lots of love

Unfortunately ladies I do have to report that feeding bread to ducks is not a great idea:
http://birding.about.com/od/birdfeeders/a/feedingducksbread.htm
How many people are going to buy a bag of duck pellets - hmmm another Dragons Den moment - we need to set up stalls all over the country where people can buy a little bag of duck pellets for 20p (like at the zoo)
Can I point out though that I do not listen to this and when my DD was young we still fed them bread!!
I have geese at the moment and they love bread although not too much of it - now the spring is here they prefer the grass!!0 -
But you can't actually see the back of your thighs unless you make a deliberate effort! Why not just avoid looking down???NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Feed bread to the ducks, they have been eating it for years, blimey I'm 59 and fed the ducks when I was little, we all did, if it was bad they would have all died by now!
Please don't feed the sea gulls they are nasty b u ggers, I used to have one sit on my garden gate, it didn't like me or my littluns every time we opened the back door it did a creepy thing with its wings :eek:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
