KD not you too :rotfl: - my bank account is still trying to recover from my recent lack of joy. I have the most amazing rainbow pyjama bottoms and a top that says 'you're my favourite thing ever' for bed. I heart it. It gives me immense joy. :D:D

Jelly is most definitely getting better but is up at the crack of dawn due to not eating since yesterday morning. Depressing. I have ensconced her with cbeebies, banana bread and raisins and have come back to bed. She is coughing and her eye looks a little crusty again so will be hitting that one hard today.

It should be 7 degrees max, with winds of 14mph today. No rain. So we are going to snowman it up and once suitably bundled we will go to fetch a few bits of shopping, take back some clothes to Next and pick up their replacements which are waiting for me after I ordered online. That is £40ish back to my bank account :)

Last nights noodle soup experiment was not very nice. Worse I have a vat of it to wade through. There is a tang of bitterness I have just not been able to remove. Oh well, it is edible and it did fill me up nicely.

Re swimsuits... I like the sound of the shorts and tankini Westie but since my weight is more on my thighs I really need some kind of swimming tights :rotfl:

dfw I am with you on the pubes. I would have DIED. and dived out of the pool. My dad refuses to swim or bath for the same reason. Why sit in your own/someone elses dirty water. I see his point.. If you have to keep on pumping chlorine in, is it actually clean or just smells that way?

Anyway I am going to go and start my very long day of wearing Jellytot into the ground. She has started again with the epic naughtiness already this morning and I've had enough. She is going to swing and slide and bike and scoot until she cannot move. And then she is going to be pushed around in the fresh air until such suitable time as I can take her home and rely on a few small things entertaining her until bedtime.

See you soon guys - thanks for popping in as always! xx

Nooo Lilt, you said the word VAT :rotfl: ;)

Hope you're having a great time out with Jelly - gorgeous sunny day here if a bit chilly - and you get a bit of peace later on. :)

I don't like swimsuits :( always too tight on my longer than average torso, so still go bikini, bit dodgy when diving in the pool though. One or two incidents in the past where the top or bottom has adjusted itself :rotfl:

Off shopping for one today with my Debs birthday giftcard for the hols. Needs to be a more hip/tummy covering bottom half though...seem to have expanded this year. (and I'm a lucky size 8)
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

    Have a good day Lilty.

Public swimming pools freak me out a little too - other people are yucky - and plasters always floating about. :( LL's grandparents in their sunny paradise have a private outdoor pool (just the norm where they live) and *that* I can cope with. No need to worry about pasty fatness either. A few lizards and frogs but they aren't too judgmental :)

I was woken up early too by a rugrat- having parallel lives a bit as I set him up with rice krispies and Handy Manny and came back to bed ;)
Have a good day with 'tot-I hope being out gets her some feel good fresh air and helps start her to feeling 100% again...bundle up :)x

PS: I think we have uncovered a gap in the market here. British people feel too pasty and flabby for the current swimwear designs - lets Dragons Den this shizzle -- head to toe unisex swimming burqa's anyone?

KD, I did it too, I looked at the kondo page. I regret it. But before you guys tell me off, it's because I'm sick and I have no drawers to kondo. When my chest of drawers is built then I will kondo the !!!! out of it.

Apparently the chlorine smell comes from the chlorine working rather than it just being present. So the more chlorine smell there is, the more mess there has been in the pool that has been purified. No chlorine smell shows low mess that has been purified. Apparently.

In that case... the chlorine smell that almost knocks me out, coupled with the guy who manages the place and tells me that they haven't actually emptied the pool out and cleaned it in years... makes me not want to take Jelly anywhere near
