Hope little gorgeous is well again soon. The giggling sounds hilarious.
Yes definitely appreciate the time you have to spend, I was a bit late to the party to have more but DD and I have a great relationship and she proudly tells her friends so. (:D).
I'd not heard about the mouth ulcer wand. I suffered for a while with them and had a huge one once after using senstive toothpaste. Apparently the salyicic acid in toothpaste is also used in general cleaning products  so I tried switching. I also found some fab treatment which had some horrible ingredients, but then found that bonjella was just as effective but you have to dry the ulcer first (cotton bud?) before applying.
You are doing brilliantly. Sadly men don't seem to grow up until much later - I don't think there's much hope before 24 and some are never fully 'Cooked' (you have to watch JJ to understand that but she is very accurate). My DD is much more savvy than me and I think she'll make an informed choice about which star she 'hitches her wagon to' (I can only hope I've done a good job).

I have tried them, to be honest I don't find them warm enough! I want more of a heat explosionI have hot water bottles and an electric blanket and basically cook myself
it does help though!
Man I wish there was a reset button. But mostly I wish for an off button!lol xx

Cross posted there SS!
She's perked up a bit and is well enough to go to her Nan's for the night which is good. She's a bit of a grump though! Her temp reached 41.2  much more normal now!
The wand appears to be working wonders! He has tried everything from corsodyl to oraldene and bonjela is a staple part of his diet. The stronger stuff actually helps for a couple of days and then his mouth explodes with ulcers. He's not had any for ages! It's "red light therapy" and within 2 uses he could feel a difference! Have told him about the cotton bud though! So glad I don't get them, or cold sores etc!
I think things have taken a turn for the better recently but I am just going with the flow. I don't try to let the good or the bad affect me too much and it keeps me on an even keel with a level head!
I don't think it's about how many kids you have but the quality of the ones you do have. And we both seem to be onto a winner there!your DD sounds lovely! And to say that of a teenage girl says it all
lol! Xx

Haha lucky. I imagine you in the bath with a glass of wine in one hand and a book in the other, the remote sat at the side of the bath... DH, DS1 &2 all sat downstairs on pause. That would be lovely. Just an hour or 2 every now and again
I'm happy to say the house is clean and scrubbed, half of dinner is cooked, I just ironed the latest dry batch of washing and pegged out the next lot... So I am planning on vegging in front of the tv! And that is such a rarity in itself it will be lovely. Think I am on 3 hours 45 minutes of tv in July!lol
How about everyone else? What's plans for this weekend?! Xx

You've been so busy! I would fall apart!
I've been cleaning the bathroom and the shower room. I attacked the bathroom floor with cleaning products (much of them!) for the first time in... No idea! Must be a year. Must remember to do it more often.
So happy to hear things are going well at the moment, you truly deserve a calm and positive time.0 -

Ooh a whole night off - you going to do anything exciting ?
The mouth ulcers - has he kept a food diary to see when they flare up ? My ds gets them if he has oats (he's coeliac as well)Sealed pot challenge 822

Peaty!!! I was about to tell you off for that. Then remembered that I've done my bathroom floor about 3 times in the last year.... :rotfl: - it is only a tiny scrap of lino. 90% of it is covered with a bath mat! It gets swept and vacuumed when i shake the mats out. How I wish for the lovely italian tiles in my house back home. I'm sure I wouldn't if I went back. All that grout! Hope you're feeling better yourself!
Lucky - I am trying. She has poddled off with her grandparents, Polly the dolly in her pram & 3 bags worth of stuff.
I've got my coffee & my laptop and am just deciding whether I should buy a macbook when my savings account matures. Lots of money but I DETEST Windows 8 with a passion. A computer trying to be a tablet but without touchscreen capabilities. Makes my skin crawl when I have to use it. My current laptop is Vista, and the screen is hanging off and taped on with gaffer tape. Theres a big yellow line down the middle of the screen too where it has pixelated. Fetching
Dawny - I had no idea it could be a reaction to a food! When he doesn't get enough zinc & magnesium it tends to flare, but mainly I think it is stress. The red light therapy is 1 minute 3 times a day, pressed directly to the ulcer. And it worked in less than 24 hours. He had been in agony, and suddenly forgot about it!
I've decided to put the half a dinner I had already prepared away in the fridge for tomorrow and put some cash from my purse towards a chinese takeawaythe second in a few nights but only the second in July! It means a spend day when I have otherwise been very good, but I forgot to defrost anything from the freezer so todays dinner would be veggie risotto and no meat.. I need some meat!

It's much better now! Floor cleaning is just horrible, kills the knees and back! Grouting is just annoying to contend with!
Why so against windows 8? I hated it at first but now I'm ok with it. The keyboard shortcuts are pretty neat, which I sometimes miss when I'm using my home laptop (7).
I in turn detest mac computers, the interface has become more intuitive but the keyboard and mouse is dreadful. One of my colleagues has RSI because of them. They are also horrendously expensive, the idea of having them sealed in annoys me. The metal casing is nice, but you can find that else where (Lenovo maybe? don't quote me).
Each to their own :beer:0
