maddiemay you are just lovely. I felt that!! Jelly is thus far still not any better but she is coughing a lot less which she tends to during the day/when standing. Have just received a video of her playing a frying pan like a guitar and making *ding dun dun* noises :rotfl:. Best of all she is wearing her gruffalo onesie
I feel very much out of sorts the last few days. Amazing what a lack of sleep can do to you! I've struggled to motivate myself to batch cook or clean properly. I cannot wait for my mojo to appear!!
Many a cup of coffee has been had today... My cups upse more than 2 'cups' from the kettle.. and I make two of my cups at once :rotfl: I've lost count but every little helps. Have switched to tea now in an effort to allow the caffeine levels to drop a bit.... Ha!
This weekend I need to:
Open a new current account & switch to it
Open a kids regular saver with Halifocks for Jelly to deposit £100 a month into. She has £1500 currently earning 5% but this is 6% so I will drip feed and keep adding to the original as usual.
Do a proper shop for the basics as we are low on weird things.
Write thank you cards and post them off

Nope. It took me a painful hour to walk home instead of the usual 30 minutes. I am grumpy in bed with the blanket on and seriously debating sleep!
Thanks for all the thoughts guys! xx

Hope sleep comes easily. Remember that if Jelly's coughing and spluttering - and doing it whilst in your bed - then you are no doubt fighting off the germs she insists on sharing.
Sending lots of gentle hugs too xNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Ah lilty.... you've only just had a major op involving a general anaestsetic and stuff done to your spine. My sister was off for six weeks after her similar op. Your lovely child has been virus ridden for a couple of months and brings every bug known to humankind home, and this winter has seen loads more people than usual getting viral infections.
Against all this you have continued to work, earn enough money to save a considerable amount, patched up your relationship with him, support your extended family emotionally and practically and find time to give sage advice and comfort to people on various MSE threads.
No wonder you are tired!!!! When I had my viral infection I got really low but it did pass as I recovered physically. If there's the slightest chance you can go all "flopsy bunny" and take to your bed for a couple of days to get straight sleep (could him and relative's take Jelly) then it might do you the world of good.
Sleep well lovely lilty and please be as kind to yourself as you are to us!! XxWith family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!
