Late to the party and Elsa has gone :rotfl: I thought it was a special cleaning up after kids company :rotfl:

Eww to fishsickgate, but agree and have done the same in the past with binning the duvet and buying a replacement for less money.

Hope today is calmer :D Oh lush brekkie, well jel !

Just to clarify: house was super tidy BEFORE Elsa arrived. :D She simply left no mess behind, in fact most of what she did involved no mess, and when she did the pass-the-parcel, she got the kids to pass the rubbish to her and she stowed it away. Impressive.

And may I just add that my house is still - 19 hours on - super tidy! But please don't go looking upstairs where it looks like a junk shop....xx

  • LMAO apple I wasn't saying that it wasn't mean beforehand. I was just so impressed that a kids party did not break your house... :rotfl:

Have cleaned this morning as I have to go to work in the morning after dropping Jelly off. For training on a new system. Brownie points from boss for going in and the time off in lieu later on when I feel like. Oh well, it will fly by!! Anyways house tidy but stinking of bacon.... don't you hate that? My extractor fan is more like a pick it up and fling it round the place fan...

Ahhhh and just as I mention tidy I hear a waterfall of plastic food hit the floor in the living room. Fingers in ears. I'm going to make bread dough and play dough and colour the right one green so they don't get mixed up...

  • ooooohhh, am very much liking ^ that sentiment ;):D

Sorry I missed fishsickgate..... um, actually, there again.........;)

Sounds like you're firing on all coping cylinders once again Lilty. Wish you didn't have to, but we work with what we get, I guess.....

I can, however, claim a position in Lilty's HP sauce gang - just had squirts of the stuff on toasted cheese sangers, that accompanied some HM tomato soup. At least there are some compensations for it being winter :D

Have a great rest of the arvo.

  • Hi Lilty! :hello:

    :j:j:j

I have just finished reading all 53 pages of your diary. It has taken me awhile as I am a slow reader but it was well worth it. I have teared up countless times, laughed my butt off and wanted to send hugs and sympathy when needed.

You do amazingly well and I hope you are very proud of yourself. I don't think I would manage as well as you are.

I have been desperate to come to the end of your diary to say hello but didnt want to miss anything. So even though it is a bit late...

    - Happy Christmas! :xmassmile

    - Happy New Year!

and I hope 2015 brings you everything you need and the strength and support to get through the bumps in the road!

I can't wait to join you on your journey this year and be one of the many lovely friends here to cheer you on :)

    October xx
  • *runs in naked with balloons and glitter*.... :rotfl:

I've only gone and blinking' done it! I made bread!! Yes I am aware I am very late this this particular party but I am seriously chuffed! It worked! It looks good... yet to taste mind you ;)

I also made flapjack (dairy free of course) and am about to embark on a carrot and coriander soup run whilst I mix up some more of the delicious dairy free cookies. :D lots of carrot to use up and will go well with the bread!

Jelly has crashed after a morning of glitter, feathers and lolly stick picture creation, followed by helping me make yellow and red glittery play dough and playing with it for hours... She also helped with the flapjacks :D anyway she went to bed with no complaint so I have an hour or so of cooking more to do in peace :)

October WOW!! Welcome to the end of the diary ;) I can't believe you read all that Or that my diary is 53 pages long!!!! I do waffle on :rotfl: Happy Christmas to you too! And an excellent New Year; may 2015 continue in the current vein for all of us! :D I know just what you mean about laughing, crying and cheering people on as you go! I read loads of diaries and do the same!

Glad to have you, and anyone else on board for the year ahead! I am very very lucky to have such a fantastic selection of supporters! :D

Right... must go tap my bread ;) xx

Hello Lilt, well done on making bread. :j:j I love the smell of freshly baked bread. BTW are you wearing the balloons & glitter?:rotfl:

No wonder Jelly crashed after all that activity, I think I would need a nap too. :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the sickness, sounds yucky. _pale_

Thanks SS1000 because I was thinking I wonder if I could get them to my house but sounds like they are expensive..... So come on explain the tsunami waves or is that too personal for an open forum? Xxx

Hi Billie. Not too personal at all, thanks for asking, in fact it's all in my carrot cake thread. I've had a rough year or so, but hopefully it's all coming together. It feels like everything is shifting into place now, but great waves may be forming great things (hopefully!) :)

  • Ohhh I love freshly baked bread. Do you have a breadmaker or did you do it from scratch? My cousin got one for Christmas and hasn't stopped going on about how good it is. I want one but I dont have the space :(

Oh and thank you for the welcome! You most definitely do not waffle!

  • Oh it is LUSH!!! Far superior to the bread maker I used to have a few years ago. Really soft and light and no giant air bubbles, just floaty little ones... SO pleased!!

Cookies are made. 6 just out of the oven, 7/8ths of the mix left in the fridge for tomorrow. It is ben and jerry cookie dough mix once in the fridge ;) sooooo nice! Trying to get the energy to peel dozens of carrots... lol.

The house smells amazing... don't want to ruin it ;)
