Hope tomorrow is a better day after a good night's sleep. Here's hoping Jelly not jumping around at 5am, I remember the days  now swapped for sleeping-for-England teenager when I tip toe around on weekends putting off hoovering so not to wake him :rotfl:

Sorry to read about your Mum, all good wishes and love her positivity (and yours too) with the fund raising head shave.

  • GOOOOOOD MORNING!!!

Where there is cake there is happiness. I have bought the cakes for work, and they are fabulous! Red velvet with cream cheese topping. And chocolate with chocolate fudge topping. Can't wait for 11am. :j

I got lots of sleep last night although Jelly threw a monster strop from 11pm until nearly 1am. Luckily it was on a Him night so I didn't have to do anything!! Having said that, the 5th time she came into my room, I did get up and take her to look out of the window at the dark, and then we had a conversation about it being nighttime, and "dark ousside" and she finally stayed in bed :D

Today is so far off to a good start. So cross your fingers for the rest of the day panning out :) I think I've got some vouchers for a certain king of burgers and may drop in there on my way home to grab some dinner. Saves me the pots etc, will be cheap because its only for me & I love their stuff :D naughty but I don't care. I need something to look forward to!

Tonight I shall mainly be playing WiiU games, drinking large amounts of tea and going through the photos on my mac to try and reduce them down a bit!!

Hope everyone is ok? Thanks for all your wishes guys. I'm ok! xx

Sorry to hear about your rubbish day yesterday, glad today is a lot better. :)

Enjoy your burger  I'm jealous. DH is away out after work so I have to feed myself.

Not on the same scale but I've got a cold and feeling pants and been busy with my DS so haven't been here for a few days.

  • Hello guys!!

Flying post as I have been putting off waking Jelly up. False economy as whilst it is peaceful now, it will not be at bedtime when she goes into meltdown because she is not tired!

Last night was eventful. Was still awake at 11pm when she came waltzing in, covered head to toe in sick. Thrown out a single duvet.. it was soaked through and doesn't fit in the machine. It is cheaper to replace than have it professionally cleaned! So, scrubbed her, changed the bed etc while she rinsed off in the shower and warmed up as she was shivering... On inspection it turns out Him had fed her some of the salmon meant for my dinner. I had eaten a Burger King :o so there but for the grace of God went I, as it smelled a bit funky. You have no idea how nasty salmon and vegetable sick is. Whole pieces of green beans... YUK. I stood in salmon and very nearly vomited on her freshly changed bedsheets. It wasn't funny last night but it is today!

Got her back in bed but she was up with the larks this morning and I am tired. She was too so the day has mostly consisted of meltdowns and time outs. Sigh!!

Dinner tonight is NY deli chicken. Take a chicken breast, slice into it and pop a bit of cream cheese inside, coat with bbq sauce, wrap in bacon.. cook in the oven for 20 minutes, add grated cheese and cook again until bubbling! There you have, heart attack on a plate.... I mean NY Deli chicken. With onion rings and chips and peas and sweetcorn! :D

kdalways feel better soon chick. We are avoiding colds by the skin of our teeth at the minute!

sashybo I'm not gonna lie... the BK was good. Not even sorry.

Mara you are pretty stupendous yourself!! ;) thanks!!! :o

Back later to confess to new jumper, tops for Jelly, and various other unbudgeted bits... Whoopsie! On the plus side, earned £4.30 on TCB in 10 minutes... :D

Hi Lilty sorry not posted for a while but have kept up with your thread. Remember those kind of nights. But gladly they have all grown up and look after themselves now!! Chicken sounds delicious. What is TCB? XLIST=1]

Wondered where you were :D:D welcome back! I missed you!

TCB also known as top cash back - website for making money out of the simplest of things.

Have awakened a very cheerful Jelly, and she is sat eating her dinner whilst singing along to the Furchester songs. She seems to have picked up an alarming cough over the last 24 hours... Hmm. Wish me luck! Usually when she coughs she is sick!!

My sympathies at your eventful night Lilty. First time I have posted on your thread I think but have read it from time to time. My daughter had a bad reaction to salmon when she was little ( is now 27) and I don't think she has touched fish since other than tuna and prawns. Do you think it was bad or maybe she has an intolerance to it?

The mere mention of salmon, let alone sight or smell makes my daughter heave even now. Luckily her new husband also hates fish so we know never to serve it to them when they come for dinner. LOL.
