  • Oh what horrid news, you are handling it so well. I hope that the ipad allows you to both (and Jelly) speak as much as possible as I am sure this will help in her recovery x

  • Hi Lucky, lubava, NOA & Brightspark

Thank you so much for your lovely support. I am sure that my mum will get through this has she has through the last 5 lots of cancer & treatment. With a smile on her face as much as possible, and helping others where she can. She is a positive person in terms of this sort of thing, and an inspiration to me. She is the reason that I may have the very occasional dip in mood but am usually unfailingly positive, and frankly don't like to dwell on things that make me sad :D

Speaking of which, am at work today... and so far so good. Am walking lots and moving around and am feeling altogether far better than I did at this time last week :D :j:j

Add to that the excellent news Mrs H & Hopefuljoy have had over the last 24 hours and I am floating! :D

Westie I won't say I have even got a 10th of the way into just how good my Macbook could be if I knew what all the keys were for. But it is pretty fabulous ;)

I used to tell myself it was muscle as they are quite defined... (think Worlds Strongest Man) but I think they are plumped up from below with chocolate oranges... :D

:D I'm sure it is mostly muscle though. :D I think my calves were inherited from my Irish peasant ancestors, so really it must be muscle, right? :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your mum but everything you have written about her makes her sound so strong and positive and she has you and Jelly cheering her on along with the rest of your family.:T

Great news that your back is feeling so much better at work.

Just popping out of lurkdom to say a big hello Lilt – have been reading from the beginning the past few days!

So sorry to hear your mum's news... with you lot around her she'll feel even stronger. And bless her for raising money with her hair, what a lovely thought!

As everyone else has said, your little Jellytot is such a peach, what a darling, happy, bright creature she is :)
  • Hi Lilt,

Sorry to hear about your mum, I'm thinking of you. Hope your back is feeling a lot better today and jelly is ok.

    Take care.x.
  • Hi guys.

Am on my phone because I just can't summon the energy required to get my laptop.

It has been a truly pants day of epic proportions and I am sulking in bed. Trying to sleep but my brain is not complying.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong today. I was late to work, late home, colleagues were a pain in the backside, I nearly got a £20 fine but for the grace of God, and Him was a miserable plonker.

So I have given up and am going to daydream of my perfect home after a lottery win and hope I can drift off to sleep.

Night guys and thanks all for your support! Xx
