Pigpen hope your pain eases today.
    Dusty big hugs.

    Healing vibes for Pigpen.

    Hugs for Dusty.

Love the Elves, Bossy. Excellently decorated tree, btw. Way ahead of where we are with Christmassy stuff.

OH raked all the rest of the leaves yesterday and cleared them out of the wells - I heart OH. My blackbird is back and is getting food twice a day now the pigeons have moved on. According to Tweet of the Day, male blackbirds can stick to the same territory for 20 years, which explains why we kept seeing a scruffy one sunning himself on the roof next door for years. Mine brings his wife in the new year and she follows me on dog walks until I feed her.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning all.

I spent yesterday doing my window, didn't like part of it so I scraped it off and started that bit again :o I'll be able to finish it today.

Then I made tea but had a slight accident. I put my hand on a hot hob plate (electric hob & I'd turned the wrong one on :o). Result: me standing with my hand under the cold water tap for 10mins, then wrapped in clingfilm and a damp cloth while I ate & my hand warmed up. Took painkillers, dunked my hand a few times in a bowl of cold water, applied some aloe vera and went to bed early. This morning its a bit achy, 2 blisters, and a bit tight but otherwise fine.

Anyways I've woken up in a "get it done" mood. I've retuned the freeview box again, had breakfast, checked stuff online and now I'm going to finish the window. DD is under orders to get her homework & chores done or she isn't going to her friends on Tuesday. ;) I think I'll tackle the ironing later and beds need changing and baths to be had. Just hoping I can keep the motivation up until I'm done.

    Ironing 3/4 done
    WM1 on the line
    WM2 in progress
Boys have done the leaves, few more to come down but that will be the last lot for our garden.

I have another poorly cat. This is not good on my stress levels or wallet. So don't want another vet trip this week.

Off to finish the ironing before lunch.

  • Electric was off here for an hour but back on now. Got all clean clothes put away and few wee bits in the utility room done, gathered all clothes that had fallen behind the machines (that's where all the missing socks hide) :rotfl:

Fire lit so i'll carry on in the utility and back hall, hope to have it finished before I stick dinner on. Only 6 loads of washing left. :j

Dusty hope it's nothing serious, maybe he/she is missing HRP's? Fingers crossed xx

Nicki hope your hand heals up quick, love your window design.

    Nicki, ouch!

Hope everyone is ok, did a long post last night but it was lost in the technical difficulties.

Anyway, I'm having a bit of a lazy day today, have walked the dogs and done dailies and need to make a start on dinner. I may wrap some presents later.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

It is Woody, youngest male cat. DS1 noticed when he stroked him last night that he has a very large swollen area/lump on his side which he does not want you to touch, today he is off his food and grumpy. He fights so I'm hoping it is just a war wound, I have some cat anti-inflams so I'll give him a dose at tea time and see how he is in the morning.

Just going to dust LR and then see what decoration DS3 wants to put up - I still feel it is too early tbh as I like to keep them up until twelfth night which is almost a month away.
