Happy flying, Kaz - hope LHR clears quickly. See you next year!
Paint touched up in kitchen, DR and hall.
Amazon order received - and by then I was decently attired
Washing sorted and first load started.
2 curtain poles to be put up next, I think... and while I've got the drill out, I must fix the bookcases to the wall.0 -
So much for plans to do some super flying this weekend.
My phone's screen isn't working. Mr P and I are going to travel 20 miles to get a second hand one from the phone shop and to see if they can retrieve any data. Maybe I will do some flying later....
Kaz have a wonderful time!

Washing up to date, batch of dishes washed and more in to soak, DD decluttered with ex with my Christmas list & spending money as well. She doesn't do shopping and ex is refusing to spend an entire day shopping as he hates it as well. Fortunately if they look at the list it can nearly all be ordered online from Am@zon

Working on my window again, 3 colours touched up and in the middle of doing the white. Just waiting for the glitter paint to dry so I can paint the next bit. Only another 10ish colours to go.. which is mainly lightening the brown to various shades for different things.
Going to have a coffee, something to eat and then carry on.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Tomorrow I MUST sort the car service!!! someone remind me, I've been meaning to do it for weeks!skint_breeder_5 wrote: »I had just put DD4 in car chair that clips onto pushchair when the Council Officials knocked at my door. I had checked the car chair, the seat of the pushchair and the basket under the pushchair several times. I used the pushchair to load things onto out of the stop cick cupboard and hoovered up after myself but what I hadn't done was lifted up the hood of the pushchair.
Keys and glasses were neatly tucked into the crease of the hood of the pushchair, so no obvious bulges, no jangling as I have been moving pushchair around searching as well and popping DD4 in it to keep her out of the flying gibble as I searched for the wretched things.
I appreciate that Council Officials might need to turn up on spec to catch out fraudsters, but they clearly have no idea what turmoil is left behind to BD and anxiety sufferers who suffer meltdown when wanted and invited visitors turn up and want to come in.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Merry Christmas kaz! Have a safe journey X
We've just made a star for the top of the tree. No tree up yet, but we don't worry about these details...
I have put a twinkly garland on the railing at the bottom of the stairs. Had to move little cabinet, was a bit  underneath! We'll do the rest of the decs tomorrow. I want to assemble the tree myself - its a bit faffy. The kids can add the trim.Bossymoo

do you not have a USB cable you can just d a phone back up to your computer? So long as it turns on it doesn't need an accessible screen it is all done through the computer software.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all,
Sorry to hear of losses and people suffering. I hope that this week is more peaceful for you.
What a busy day yesterday! I was out until 9pm so only the basics done and nothing extra at all. We've been out to a party and done some Christmas shopping this morning. I'm shattered and it's back to work tomorrow. Luckily I only have 10 more days before the holidays, can't keep up with this pace!
Right, going to:
Put away the mounds of laundry
Make our bed
Strip DDs bed and remake
Clothes/packed lunches/other prep for tomorrow
Hang washing out
Wrap a few presents
Get Secret Santa present (must do this tonight!)
Finish decorating and put boxes away
And work on Friday list!
Wish me luck, I will need it :rotfl:CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

Your posts reminded me of the whirlwind "all around the house spring clean with Fla*h" adverts - were they seventies? - I am so old!!!

Washing on the line
Trip into town to order flowers done
Mr L shop done (DS2 put away as I had to dump it and go straight to collect DS3, it was lovely of him but I'd left a stocking filler in there for him - never mind - it was a skinty idea for uni - a Lidl special of 6 herbs/spices in a pot)
Time for a cuppa and to clean up the kitchen. I then want an hour or so in the garden and then to dusting the LR and tidying the dining room (huge task) for putting up decs with DS3 tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
