I slept until 4:40! DS came home and woke me for his sweet money and hunkered up on the sofa with a bag of boiled sweets and the tv! DD got home and panicked a bit as she's locked her phone and had loads of messages on it but DS was at the shop and I was in her bed. She found me on the second round. Hers is at the top of the stairs and I felt so bad by the time I got there, I saw sheets and just got in with the cat. DD doesn't mind at all thankfully. She's had soup for tea and DH has taken DS to the Christmas market at Cheddar Gorge.
Will catch up on the rest of the bits and pieces tomorrow.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

I know just what you mean having battled my way round our Aldi this morning too. :rotfl: Is it my imagination or is it busier - or do I normally not go in on a Friday?
The cars were playing dodgems in the car park even though they have introduced a car park policy there are some crafty people who have found a way around it!!!
It was mayhem today! Some poor lady had lost her handbag in the store and was running up the aisles shrieking and crying. Thankfully she found it. They've added extra shelving to house the Christmas stock and it was causing major blockage; I ended up "parking" my trolley and carrying stuff back in stages rather than try to shove my way through the crowds. The car park here isn't too bad, it's the traffic outside which does my swede in; gotta love the Stratford Road :mad:Ooh I like chablis. Let me know if it's any good
I'll be sure to report back tomorrow0 -
Kaz hope your feeling better soon xx
Since my last post I hovered kitchen, livingroom and main hall, filled stick basket, lit fire and pottered about until school run.
Then collect DS3, lift a bicycle, collected DS1&2 then home to start their bedroom. DD arrived home and tidied her room in 10 minutes while me and the boys had been at theirs for 2 hours. Glad to say both bedroom hovered and boys bedding all changed (i'll do DD's tomorrow along with my own). Dinner made, finished and cleared up. Plan now is to have a nosey online for Christmas stuff.
Tomorrow I would love to get my bedroom done, utility room, back hall plus I really want the garden tidied up and the lights put up outside. Might even get DD's bicycle fixed.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -

Hope we are all well I have read back but nothing has stuck!
I have done nothing but sorted the tea and bathed the kids.
I am trying really hard not to have a lumbar puncture this year but it seems my head is just getting worse and more frequent, and now my vision is blurred my sleep broken all through the night. No flying yet, I am going to give myself over the weekend to get a lid on it and if no improvements I will just man up and get it done.0 -
Ooh I like chablis. Let me know if it's any good - I have to go past Mummyoffive's to get to an Aldi - ours isn't open yet. Home early because I am going out on a jolly.
I am now officially in post until July, though yet to see a contract. Then we shall see...it means I am no way guaranteed to get f/t.:o
DD is full of cold though.
Shower time!
Laters x
Don't know about the Chablis, but can thoroughly recommend the Cava which is under a fiver...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Skinty reporting back in - I have central heating again.
Keys and DS brown glasses are still missing - despite the house being turned upside down.....at 4 am I gave up, and went to bed, then spent 3 hours this morning putting everything back, just as the doorbell went with the engineer.
Managed to get some Toots list things done overnight last night as part of looking and putting away, (until I gave up with the putting away!).
Going to have some me time on Fred, then I will find Listy and see what can go!
I am hoping that after a good nights sleep, I can look for keys with renewed vigour in the morning.
Off I go, see you later :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Lozzy, I hope you make it through the year but if you do need one, then you do need one.
DD has been asked to join the band at sea cadets. That's our week full now as DH is having business meetings with his partner on Monday.
DH wanted to go out with our friends for Christmas drinks (well we all do) but I spoke to his friend about 4 weeks back and arranged it for tonight. He then rang a few days later and said they couldn't. This was the only weekend evening we could do in December. I'm not sure if DH's had some grief but he moaned last night about it as I'm off this weekend so why can't we do tomorrow (no sitter available and it's our last weekend to organise stuff before DS's birthday). Unfortunately, until DS no longer wants to celebrate his birthday with us, we can not be free on a weekend evening in December. So don't give us poo about it gah!
Sorry, rant over.
Skinty, yay! Hope you find your keys very soon xxDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Might be daft skinty but have you used a different coat this week? Or bag? I often dop my keys in the little canvas bag that I keep all my reusable shopping bags. When my purse is missing I usually look in DS toybox
could they be under / down back if sofa?
Nice evening out with friends. Feel bit more festive. Am getting a bit of stress from a mate, though. I know she's got heaps going on, but seems perhaps she's let someone down a bit, who is making her feel bad. But she texts me about it and I really don't want to get caught in the middle
Then another friend said "are you going to xx's on New Year's Eve?" Huh. I haven't been invited! Pfft. He said "oh, !!!!!!, I didn't tell you..." :rotfl:Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
