#69: Finally got paid from a client! One money shuffle later and£150 MOP made before it has the chance to filter away somewhere else!

Yep, I'm going with the "over and above" stated min required from bank (we already round this up to £1,000 a month just because round numbers are friendlier to work with)! All amounts stated are over and above this, so total of £250 so far in June.

    Thanks JCL

  • No 100 here have made an overpayment of £540 for May & June
  • Well technically mortgage free for a couple of weeks :) Woohoo!

But a new, bigger mortgage will start soon enough. I will continue my OP goals, will update my target when the new mortgage starts and I can play with the numbers!

My aim is to then over pay mortgage and by 31/12/14 to have a savings pot minimum £ 5900 so the combination of 123 and pot is greater then mortgage.

    Hi Jay,

I've added you - number 136. Please quote this any time you post in this thread with an overpayment. Your post confused me (it's been a long week!) but I've taken from it that you are aiming to overpay £5,900 for this year. Let me know if I've misinterpreted. Thanks.

teabody - congratulations on reaching your target for the year! :)

girl afraid - just a reminder if posting more than one overpayment in the same month please post the total for the month so the spreadsheet is accurate.

Spreadsheet has been updated with the latest OPs. Have a great weekend everyone! :)
