Never too late girl afraid - as long as it's this year! :) I've added you to the spreadsheet. Your number is 82 and please quote this any time you post here to update with an overpayment. Welcome aboard! :)

Sweepster - I make your total for the year so far £2129.87 according to the spreadsheet? £200 Jan, £535 Feb, £475.57 Mar, £500 Apr, £419.13 May - is that not correct? Let me know and I can make amendments.

kitjos - target updated and great to hear you're sorted with C&G for making the payments. Good luck for the rest of the year!

I've updated the spreadsheet with the latest overpayments - great work all! It will be towards the end of next week or next weekend before the next update so don't worry if you're not seeing your OP added. As always I will add a 'Thanks' to your post when I add the OP to the spreadsheet. Keep it up overpayers! :)

    Hello JCL

I have made some changes to my mortgage payments and so what I have previously classed as a mortgage overpayment, I have now made a part of my standard monthly payment.

So, my overpayments are going to be harder to come by and so less frequent. I am going to keep to my original target for the year, just to see if I can reach it. You never know, I am already slightly ahead of schedule, so I will be very pleased if I come anywhere near this target in December .

Thank you for keeping tabs on it all.

    Onwards and upwards!

  • Hi everyone :hello:

Just popping to say hello and see how well everyone is doing :j

Well it's June and tomorrow should be our last mortgage and endowment payments ever, I can't wait to cancel those direct debits! But still no news on endowment shortfall. I just keep hoping it's good news and we can report mortgage free next month. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! :A

Keep going, you are all doing brilliantly :T

Congrats time to face the music!! The end is in sight, you can finally say your mortgage free!!! - well done :D

I've just been looking at my online mortgage statement - so disheartening to see that out of our £626 monthly payment, £449 goes solely on interest. So were only taking £177 off our capital pm, can see why it takes over 30yrs to pay it off!!

    Onto June! xx
