Full roast turkey dinner - minus turkey, after your fiasco with Emu - serve you right! Do you think they'll notice you serving roast Spam carved into thin slices with loads of turkey gravy poured over? Fingers crossed they'll be too ratfaced on your mulled wine to notice.....
Now we are not going to try and flame the Christmas pudding again this year, are we? Remember last year? Your eyebrows have only just grown back.....

After dinner - the toasts. No, Igor, not the kind you serve with marmalade, I mean the little speeches you make with drinks, as in "here's to another fantastic year of NSD-ing" etc etc....

It's another NSD for me today as I've been tidying the house up and wrapping presents.

After all the toasting has been done, it will be panto time......
Yes, you will have time to get into your costume and makeup, there's an army of volunteers on standby to wash up consisting of all those naughty NSD-ers who uttered the F word this year (as in "failed").

First act of panto finishing with Wishee Washee mangling her smalls as Cinderella drives off in the coach to the ball. Poor thing, having to stare at Hubert's rear end....hope his nappy is on tight....

Interval for drinks and pole dancing display by kerri. Hope the Christmas tree branches don't cause a mischief, or our Principal Boy will be limping after Cinderella.....

Second half of panto (with a break between Acts 2 and 3 for the audience participation bit - all together now, "I know a song that will get on yer nerves, get on yer nerves...")

After the show - drinks, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack
Frost nibbling at your nose and fireworks.

Now, they'll be here any time soon, we have it all organised, nothing can go wrong.

Well I have half an Xmas dinner, veggies don't seem to be up to 25th yet and sainsbobs was so busy that I couldn't face any more. Will have to finish the rest on Monday morning. Couldn't get what I was going to get OH for Xmas, so it will be a delayed gift, hope he doesn't mind too much.

Just got a jar of mini gherkins with dill, but they seem a bit soft, bleugh, not Impressed.

Right off to get changed to the panto....

Oh Goddess he hasn't added Midori, Creme de Menthe AND Absinthe to the egg nog again has he!

Oh ad NSD number 17 hurtling towards the cauldron (erm that isn't the cauldron with the ferret and satsuma curry in it is it?!)

Ugh, I am currently harbouring an intense dislike towards the person who invented curling ribbon.

Been wrapping gifts, incl OH gifts, really worried that his seems a shoddy lot this year and he'll be disappointed. Started off this year so organised and it's all gone to pot now. Would crack into the mulled vino but on taxi duty for OH tonight so can't. Pah! Feeling distinctly bah humbug tonight.
