Good Morning Folks from a very windy NI:eek:
No NSD for me yesterday, as I did some shopping and also did a little football bet:o
I am not sure how many more NSDs I will have before Christmas, but will see how it goes. I have had to order a sim card for my dongle as my internet credit is low, so depending on how long it lasts, may not be on line for a day or 2:(
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the run up to Christmas:)If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
£2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!0 -
The day after Winter Solstice.
Damp, but bright, with a little breeze.
Ennessdee Towers stands still, all is quiet. However, if you venture through the front door you will find.......utter devastation.
Cocktail bar overturned, and a large emu sitting on top of it, daring anyone to try and remove it (must be laying an egg).
Mince pies everywhere, from where the NSD gang had a mince pie fight last night, and the floor covered in this sticky yellow stuff which forensics have just identified as some kind of sauce which is traditionally served with mince pies.
The panto set totally wrecked after Hubert got an attack of the stomach cramps - cheapskate Igor bought the BOGOF value brand of nappy, I see.....
Mr Bongoman (aka son of ETO) still in the orchestra pit bashing out another bongo solo - ETO! Will you please remove your son, he doesn't need to rehearse any more, it's fine as it is....
Christmas tree still upright with a twinkling fairy on top....no, it's Igor, looking very fetching in his Fairy Godmother outfit.
Igor! Why are you sitting on top of the tree like that?
Oh, you didn't sit on it, the tree sort of came to you courtesy of some irate NSD gang members who discovered you served them Spam instead of turkey......
Listen, we've got to get you down immediately, because we have another party tonight, this time with a proper turkey dinner courtesy of your Aunty Nargle (sigh! It's hard work being a Super Being sometimes) and another panto performance. Whether kerri is up to another pole dance show remains to be seen, she was walking like John Wayne the last time I saw her....
Right, let's remove this tree....it might sting a little but I promise it won't be too painful....I think.....One life - your life - live it!0 -
