Declaring now because everywhere is about to close and I have no intention of leaving the sofa, let alone the house no matter how many skip fulls of yellow sticker items there are just a few minutes walk away.
So here it is:NSD 10 :j
On Christmas Eve! Unexpected, slightly unbelievable and very very welcome
merry Christmas to all

paid pre-DMP £6146paid with DMP £2275
F&F's £700 (£450 discount) £1,000 (£1,498.22 discount) £ 700 (489.62 discount)
Total £9725
Current debt to repay £3,503.13 taking one day at a time0 -
I don't need or want anything else for Christmas, so it's safe to declare
NSD # 12
Have a great Christmas everyoneEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
2 more NSD in the bag so my new total is #8NSD
tomorrow should be another NSD so that would make another 3 in a row but ill update when it happens
Im well on my way to my target of 12
having just been paid I shall now in earnest aim to throw anything spare at reducing my credit cards whilst I have 0% interest in them . I shall also set out "pots" for groceries and petrol so NSD will only happen if I spend beyond my pot or outwith these necessities
if anyone knows of a VERY simple app or programme that I can put what I owe on a spreadsheet type thingy though I know nothing about spreadsheets. as I would love to see the totals coming down as I make my regular payments and any extra ones
I am also determined to keep track of any spends and write them down as I go (note to self....)
working night shift tonight so santa may be arriving a little later than normal in the jammy dodger household
have a super Christmas eve folks and hope that santa is good to each and every one of you
JD xx

I just got back from M&S, my goodness, it was a bit like an A$da on a sunday at 3.30pm, but with half the crowd thinking they were better than everyone else - I was in danger of being strangled by someone's string pearls I reckon. Not actually much that I fancied, some nice bits if you were going to get them anyway but I just came out with some crab gratin for me and OH tonight for £2.50. Quite a lot of veg and turkey there though, going to work out roughly what it would have all cost vs what I have spent on dinner this year and then think about getting it like that for 2014. If my nerves can take it that is!
Also popped into Sainsbobs, couple of bits there (incl a nice loaf that I have managed to cut in half lengthways with the packaging from my yellow label pork chops ) and now home to batten down the hatches.
Deff going to have to get back on the NSD bandwagon come Jan, seem to have just spent, spent, spent this month. Need to reorganise and make a last push at those debts in 2014. Good news is that we've just made the last payment on what was a big loan :j although there's things to pay still, that gives us a little more flexibility and breathing space each month.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
