  • Evening all,

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. We have had a lovely few days but I'm quite excited to get back to normal tomorrow.

I'm declaring NSD #6 for today. We went out for a long walk this afternoon and I had a quick look in one shop but everyone was chomping at the bit to get home so my purse stayed firmly closed.

4 more might be a bit of a stretch as there are only 5 days left this month (and year!).

Hope everyone is well. Hugs for those that need them :rudolf:

Really do need to get back on the NSD wagon come jan, I have no idea of spends of late, well that's not true, I do have receipts and have logged spends but between Xmas shopping and buying / returning items, I'm a bit lost where budget is now concerned.

Met a friend for coffee today but she kindly paid as I paid last time when she was job hunting, nice of her to remember that as it was a while ago, so a welcome treat. Car park free for bank holidays too.

Off with another friend tomorrow to an outlet village, really don't expect to see anything, more going to be able to spend time with her while she's in the uk.

Feeling odd this year, I do love Xmas but I am partly glad the big event is over now, although I think I will need to give my poor oven a god scrub come the new year, why do so many people have theirs cleaned before Xmas? Baffles me a bit when it's about to cook the biggest roast of the year.

There was a last minute change of dessert menu yesterday & then everyone decided to have a cuppa (or 3 muvva!) so I've got to go out for milk at the very least, today. (Considering the timing the macaroni pudding came out creamy & very edible, & a wonderful wander down memory lane lick-lips.gif ) I did think about nipping to the little shop yesterday for some, but the thought got lost amid place settings & mining for that elusive jar of pickles that always tries to blend in with the wartime rations at the back of the larder because it only comes out for high days & holidays big-santa-hat-smiley-emoticon.gif

Consequence of which, enables me to declare 1 short of 14 please, aka Baker's Dozen blissful-smiley-emoticon.gif I'm off to do a grocery list in the hopes I can avoid the shops till next month, so I'll catch up with the plans for NY later....

  • Morning everyone.

Hope you're all well and had a fantastic Xmas. :D

Sorry I've been AWOL, I just couldn't keep up with my NSD's, this thread and the other couple of threads I run and have been helping out with.

Hoping that come January's thread that I will be back on track, with NSD's and posting on here and even updating, if you'll have me back. I need to read back over this thread at some point too.

I did manage to nab NSD's on Xmas day and Boxing Day, I think pretty much every other day has included a spend of some description. :(

So 6/10 for me so far.

  • :j :j :j NSD 12 AND TARGET MET :j :j :j

I very very very nearly went out about 15 minutes ago to "browse" the Boots sale, however, my children have "helped" to tidy up and I have absolutely no idea where they have put my shoes! :rotfl:

instead I've eaten an entire box of After Eights while watching truly terrible TV that were forgotten on Christmas Day and in a few hours BFF will be arriving for a drink-fest (all purchased in advance) :D this also means I will need to move my car for her to park and when hubby gets back from his night shift early tomorrow he'll block me in and force me into a target breaking NSD tomorrow :D
