I've managed to achieve 12 so far; I am looking at the online sales but daresay it will just be "windows" shopping (geddit?!?!!) & I shall stay warm, dry & un-bruised with my versionThere's not much point in my buying clothes just yet as the family have all signed a pact to loose weight, but those are pounds we don't mind losing!

Delighted to announce that today makes NSD number 12 which means I have hit my target!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas - it's not over yet, and there's the New Year to come as well, so lots of joyful times ahead. Even if life is tough for you at the moment, you can still reflect on the good things and celebrate them, and find ways of dealing with the less than good things.

Hi, hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas Day.
I can report yesterday was NSD #13
Today will be nothing like a NSD - I've been to the local sales, and I'm delighted with what I bought. Also, I'm probably going to order my bread maker this afternoon - this item is vital for my future MSE life!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I was just about to excitedly post I'd hit my target then realised I'm online because I just paid £50 off a CC! Still I'm not unhappy about the spend, it's taken my debt repayments over £2k since my LBM and it's a "good" spend.
There are 5 more days in December to snag that last one and I have a sneaky suspicion I'll do it despite feeling on the first of December that 12 was insurmountable

Well Done on reaching Target & Many Congratulations on your new job; hope you'll be happy there for a long while to come! And fingers X you find the real bargains in the shops today..
Thank you! It's the best of both worlds with the new job - my entire department is being merged with several others to become a brand new one. So I get to keep my fabulous colleagues but we are much more stable and have an exciting fresh start (and permanent contracts). Also managed to find some fab bargains in the sales today but not spend all of the Christmas £ - hurrah!Novuna personal finance 0% 4-year £518/£1866Credit card debt free!
