hiya i am fairly new to the NSD challenges nikki2002 but others i see put in a jar when they've been paid such regular necessary expenditure so it doesnt count to the NSD even though you have kinda spent that day iyswim ?
i havent included petrol this month in my NSD but i think i am going to put an allocated sum in a pot for this as its not to me a real spend as i have to drive 40 mile round trip to work and there is no public transport or alternative to this
having set NSD targets is a real motivator to keep the purse strings tight

Evening all
Reporting NSD # 9
I'm pleased with that, as I normally spend at least something on Tuesdays
However, not so pleased to report I've got a cold. I think I caught it on Saturday when I did a day trip to that cruise ship. An old bloke sneezed on me..... I wasn't happy at the time, and I'm even less happy now !Early retired - 18th December 2014

Well done Saver-upper for not giving up - it takes a strong will to hang in there when the going gets tough. 4 NSD means at least one day in every 4 was a spend-free - quite probably better than when you first joined?
Pleased to report NSD 11, tomorrow probably won't be one.Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Morning all,
I appear to be well and truly stalled on #2. It's been crazy busy and something new and unexpected has cropped up every single day so despite my preparations nothing has gone to plan. However, in new developments, I used "no" as a complete sentence yesterday when I turned down a last minute invitation that sounded fun but would have been too stressful logistically (there was a "thank you very much" in there too). I felt very proud of myself as usually I'd be tying myself in knots trying to get it all done.
Right, must get ready for the day. Have a good one! :snow_laugCC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
