Here we go again! "Professional" compers banned!

Seriously, what do these companies mean when they use the term "Professional"?

Even with all the hours I [STRIKE]waste[/STRIKE] put in to comps, I wouldn't call myself professional!

Disgusting, but not unexpected the free breakfast comp was abused, some bright spark decided to photocopy their voucher and give it to all and sundry hence we are all banned.

Phew! I'm OK, as I've not completed my City and Guilds diploma in advanced competition entering.

    :D
  • well if it was abused they should have made it more difficult to abuse it or run it in a different way - compers give these companies loads of publicity ! really makes me mad!

Good for them!People comp for anything for the sake/fun of it.How about giving people who actually just want something from one competition more of a chance?

Never understood all this comp entering.

I just had my two pennorth.

I entered a comp on Facebook for a coat, loved it that much that I bought it for my niece for Christmas. And I made sure I messaged the company to let them know that in this instance the comp worked exactly as it should do creating a new customer for their website.

    Professional compers my erse!
    Comps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

  • I've never come across a professional comper in my life. I love entering competitions and I am - sorry WAS a customer. It's a great hobby. So why bash people who enter their competitions? Doesn't make sense. It shows how PR people haven't got a clue.
