Has anyone used the LE lip shimmer? I've had mine for about three years before I opened it the other day and the consistency is not how I imagined it to be so not sure if it's gone funny. I was imagining more of a lip balm consistency. I thought I would try it out anyway and it felt all grainy on my lips that I had to remove it so think I may have left it too late to use it :(

i have, mine was always grainy so i think i just never used it! its just the super balm with shimmer mixed in and i don't like the super balm so i was prob never going to get along with it!

Temptation is everywhere, it is a struggle to resist for me as I think if I don't get it now I will never get another offer like it. So far I have resisted Debs 15% off, Body Shop 50% off, the Clinique GWP to name just a few.
I feel exactly the same. I had a near purchasing incident last night when I put a couple of items from the Ginger Sparkle Body Shop range in the basket at 50% off. I managed to talk myself out of it, but the temptation is so strong despite the fact that my stash is so huge........ :(

I've had another couple of use ups after my shower today. The Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisture and Shine Shampoo sachet 10ml: I actually trialled this several years ago before it was released. I like it but it just isn't right for my hair type. It smells gorgeous and is rich and creamy, but my hair was greasy again within 24 hours. I am halfway through the conditioner sachet now too.

I also used the Sanctuary Mande Lular sachet 12ml. I would definitely buy this product once I have finished off my veritable mountain of body moisturisers! It smelt divine and I could still smell the scent on my skin the next day. It was creamy, but not too thick, and absorbed easily. A real thumbs up from me. :)
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

The thing I find makes avoiding TBS offers easier is the fact that they are almost constant, even 50% off swings by in some form every couple of weeks or so - I tend to stock up every so often and get a fair few items in one go every few months from there with this in mind.

I have a couple of items I forgot to include on my PP list:

    8. TBS Vitamin E Cream Cleanser 200ml
    9. S&G Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser 100ml

I've just finished the last of the cleanser off this morning, WBMA, nothing outstanding but didn't have any breakouts using this either. Also have another few UU to declare, TBS Coconut soap, WBA, L'Occitane Jasmine handcream, WBA but not in this fragrance, was a bit strong for my liking and finally L'Oreal Preference conditioner, comes with hair colour. All off the PP list so happy with that.

Also have one IN, another of the above conditioner bought with hair dye, need to do that desperately but one of my most hated beauty chores! Will also be replacing cleanser shortly as only foaming/hot cloth ones remaining and like to have a cream one too.
  • Definition of irony: the 10day vitamin c radiance powder treatment I bought to brighten up my dull skin has reacted, and I now have a nasty red, itchy, swollen patch ALL around my mouth and down my chin. It is so sore! This might be a TA.

Also UU dove leave in conditioner (pp list) and a travel sized Colgate toothpaste.
  • I am in for December - just rushed off my feet with exam prep, christmas prep, long working hours and poorly daughter.

I'm doing my own personal beauty advent calendar using up sachet samples as I have a lot of them. This is helping me get my stash levels down but on the down side I've been trying a lot of products so far that don't suit my skin - currently I have a very sore red spot just on my lipline after using a facial wash that was far too strong for my skin. :(

No INs for me - although I am running out of shampoo so will have to buy some soon. Actually starting to think I've cracked my habit of buying products - but I know xmas is around to corner so I'm bound to be bought lots more! :p

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hi
I have been wondering how you are, sore the little one is poorly, I hope that she will be better soon.
I have a LOT of travel/gwp size products in my stash, sometimes it costs less per ml/gm to buy these if people are selling them on and more importantly, if my very sensitive skin reacts badly to something I can cope with having to bin a small size, while I would struggle letting go a full size (the mse influence).
I hope that the exam prep goes well.:D

  • I UU one of my Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Serum sample bottles tonight; it has lasted ages and I am still undecided about this but doubt I will buy it. Although not about to give up on it just yet as I have another one in the stash - I don't much care for the silicone feel and the fact that it often makes anything I put on top of it roll and flake away.
