    Hi
I have been wondering how you are, sore the little one is poorly, I hope that she will be better soon.
I have a LOT of travel/gwp size products in my stash, sometimes it costs less per ml/gm to buy these if people are selling them on and more importantly, if my very sensitive skin reacts badly to something I can cope with having to bin a small size, while I would struggle letting go a full size (the mse influence).
I hope that the exam prep goes well.:D

Hey Maddie how are you? :)

Daughter's had a nasty cough since mid-october which the doc's keep telling me she 'just has to get through' - easy for them to say when they're not the ones being woken up multiple times a night! The last few nights have been much better though, she's only been waking once or twice a night which is an improvement. Fingers crossed she carries on getting better - my next exam is in a month and I'm stressing already. :o

Agree with you about size of products - I find the vast majority of products are far too harsh for me. I've never bought a full size product based on the sample - sure I'm not alone in this?

Definition of irony: the 10day vitamin c radiance powder treatment I bought to brighten up my dull skin has reacted, and I now have a nasty red, itchy, swollen patch ALL around my mouth and down my chin. It is so sore! This might be a TA.
Oh no, you have my sympathy. Do you have any E45 cream? I hope you feel better soon.

I'm doing my own personal beauty advent calendar using up sachet samples as I have a lot of them. This is helping me get my stash levels down but on the down side I've been trying a lot of products so far that don't suit my skin - currently I have a very sore red spot just on my lipline after using a facial wash that was far too strong for my skin. :(
This has been happening to me again lately too which is probably the reason I ended up with so many unused sachets in the first place!

My skin just doesn't seem to like most of the creams and lotions I apply. As well as my rosacea, I currently have a slight rash and lots of tiny lumps under my skin caused by a reaction to the last cream I tried. :( I hope your daughter makes a speedy recovery.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Has anyone used the LE lip shimmer? I've had mine for about three years before I opened it the other day and the consistency is not how I imagined it to be so not sure if it's gone funny. I was imagining more of a lip balm consistency. I thought I would try it out anyway and it felt all grainy on my lips that I had to remove it so think I may have left it too late to use it :(

As Evilsquid said this is the same as the Superbalm which does go grainy over time. Chuck it out !!
I've moved on to one of my (many) BS almond shower gels for now but will be cracking open a festive mini Philosophy nex week I think - not feeling at all Christmassy at the moment (in fact, quite the opposite!), despite putting tree and decs up and having almost finished shopping :(

It's really weird this year isn't it? I'll feel festive, then in the next moment not. Hope I do feel festive in York this weekend though.

I feel exactly the same. I had a near purchasing incident last night when I put a couple of items from the Ginger Sparkle Body Shop range in the basket at 50% off. I managed to talk myself out of it, but the temptation is so strong despite the fact that my stash is so huge........ :(

What is it with TBS at the moment? That 50% deal has been running nearly all week now hasn't it? My Inbox is being bombarded with messages saying it's not gonna last !!

No "might" about it minicooper, chuck it out!!

No more UUs for me at the mo. It's all come to a skidding halt. I will be repainting my nails tonight (am thinking of going for something non-festive like Sephora by OPI It's Hippo to be Square) for a change so hopefully we UU more of the bottle of Cutex nail polish remover.

MrM found fragrancedirect last night after a tip off on HUKDs and the OPI list was very exciting as it contained a couple of bottles that I never thought I'd be able to get again. Gave him a little list ... only £3.99 a bottle.

I'm convinced I posted in here - and now can't find my posts! I suspect my b-band gremlins. Checked the old thread - nope!
So back in and UUing. Belated thank you for starting the thread, KT2802.
UU of Avon Care Rich Moisture Family Cream 400ml. The nearest I have to a body skin HG. Replacement of this lovely, easily absorbed moisturiser in stash.
I have had no ins, despite being offered various toiletries to trial on Amazon Vine. I got energy saving GU10 light bulbs and something for DS instead. Go me. Thrilled with the GU10 light bulbs as these are £7 each and they sent 4.
However, I just won a Rituals Yogi Flow shower gel on the Magic Freebies Postbox Game Apparently this type of prize doesn't always arrive so we shall see. It's worth about £8.
I never ever win these instant win things, so I'm a bit stunned!

minicooper272, I do feel for you! I bought one of these earlier this year to use before a family wedding, but I'm pretty lucky with sensitivities. Can't say I was impressed by the results of the treatment though.

    2 UUs to report:
1.5ml sample nurture replenish day cream. WNBA as made no difference.
5 ml. REN Frankincense Night cream. Not very impressed with this either.

Also 3 GAs (as it's Christmas!):
Essentially Yours Gardeners Gift Set, comprising hand wash and hand lotion pump bottles. For my gardening friend.
L'Occitane 50 ml Immortelle Precious face cream. For my SIL. Have not used this one but the Divine Cream is very good - Verging on HG.

    And now, 4 INs :o :
No7 wipes. I had a £5 voucher, and I had to buy something, and I know I'll use these.
GWP L'Occitane Fleur D'or - Body Milk 50ml, soap 50gms, EDT 7.5ml. Not sure about the smell, though. Came with purchases of men's toiletries as presents for DS and DD's boyfriend, which I won't count as they're GA soon.

Well, overall I've managed to drop 1 item! And the giving hasn't started yet! Don't think this'll be a good month, I'm counting on 2014.

Oh that's unfortunate! I thankfully don't have anything major I'm perking my skin up for - but I am a bit sad I will have red splotches all over for my Christmas do this Friday.

Live and learn I suppose. With my mindset, I really need to stop myself from trying one more application tonight. I just hate waste, and unfortunately, this has to be used within 10 days, or I will basically be throwing £11.20 in the bin! I will try to resist.

I don't have E45 cream babafette but have various derma and emollient creams lying around. Thanks for reminding me to use them!
  • Evening Ladies,
    How are you all?
Well I've a few things from last week and this week.

6 UUs and 5 INs :o but I'm pleased as only 2 ins are full size, the others are samples but 4 of my outs are full size so all good...

    UU
No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day cream 50ml - WNBA - this was from my step-mums stash. Doesn't really agree with my skin, leaves me bumpy so I've been using it on my neck and decollete. Still have 2 pots left and I know they are expensive so I can't throw them away...

Philosophy Unconditional Love Eau de Toilette 50ml - WNBA - I do like sweet smells but this was too sickly sweet for me, reminded me of candy floss!

Collin Resultime Regenerating Collagen Gel 50ml - WBA - love this stuff! Love the texture, the fragrance, how it makes my skin feel, just don't love the price! It's around £47 for 50ml  but this pot did last around 3 months and I used it twice a day. I am trying to use up some different sample serums I have in my stash before opening my new jar but boy I am missing it! :o

Boots essentials fragrance free cleansing wipes 25 wipes WNBA - another item inherited from my late step-mums stash. I rarely use wipes, tend to only use them if it's a very late night or I'm going to bed unwell so don't have the energy to do a proper cleanse. Thankfully this isn't often and lots left in stash so no need to buy again.

Sunday Riley Start Over Active Eye Cream sample sachet - WNBA - this cream did have a lovely light texture which I liked as some creams can be heavy but, it made my eyes sting so sadly WNBA.

Givenchy Very Irresistible Eau de toilette sample sachet WMBA - did like this light fragrance, would wear it again if it was bought for me, but I've enough perfumes on the go so wouldn't go out of my way to buy it at the moment.

    INs

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil 200ml - got this for half price so couldn't resist...

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter 90ml - again half price so... :o

Elave Age Delay night treatment 5ml sachet - free sample
Jouer Luminizing Moisture Int 1ml sachet - free sample
Erno Laszlo Phormula 3-9 Repair Serum 2ml sachet - free sample

So all in all one item down... :)
 Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

The thing I find makes avoiding TBS offers easier is the fact that they are almost constant, even 50% off swings by in some form every couple of weeks or so
That's very true, I just hate the fact that I'm missing out on a good deal and I'm not sure if the Ginger Sparkle range is just for Christmas. I suppose it's only a bargain if you actually need it though and I certainly don't!!! :D :rotfl:

That reminds me, I forgot to mention that I painted my nails with Rimmel Climax the other day. Which particular OPIs are you after Val if you don't mind me asking?
