1 more UU - 15ml Eve Lom Rescue Mask. Came in a beauty box, WNBA it was fine, but I am happy with the REN one and it will last for ages yet and I think it is a lot cheaper.

I have been looking at the Clarins gift sets (not for me) I need a nice gift for 40th birthday which will have to be posted end next week. I know the birthday girl uses Clarins, but don't know her skin type and fragrance preference so I am thinking hand cream and perhaps a cute little lippie gift box, it is so difficult as she is a high earner and gets to buy nice things for herself:(

I am less strong willed than you:o a few days ago I succumbed to the Daily Telegraph/All boxed up one, it was a bit of a late response and I did not expect to get it, but e-mail received today to say it would be despatched later in the week.

At least I can move someone else of the norty step:rotfl:

Will report "the damage" when it arrives.

I looked at that several times but I only really liked the sound of a few things so it was relatively easy to stay away, not that I managed with THIS......... :D:D:D

Just taking a couple of pics, as I AM wrapping it up for Xmas day, so not declaring it as an IN until then!

I am feeling good for managing to not splash out on the YR glitch thing, but I am feeling my resolve waning very very quickly, but even if I only manage to resist half the things I want to buy, then that's half as much into my stash as I might have had, so yeay me! :j:j:j

I buy fancy stuff for myself but I don't expect my friends to get me fancy stuff, I had this conversation with someone last week, she said I loved Lancome, Elemis etc so she didn't want to buy me high street toiletries I wouldn't like!

I said nothing could be further from the truth and that I use high street stuff as well as posh stuff, as long as I like it, I don't care where it comes from. She now knows I only dislike Lush (boycotting), S&G (too much for too long) and Dove (allergic) x

kadison, that set is soooooo gorgeous, but I am quite good about not buying make up, not so good about the toiletries though. I normally manage to ignore the glitches and offers from most sources these days, not quite sure why the Telegraph one "got me".

    Good evening everyone :hello:

I am absolutely delighted to be able to say that I've finished 2 products on my Project Pan list for this month so far!

    6) Aussie Mega Conditioner 250ml - WBA. Love this, it's my favourite conditioner and I have a couple of other bottles in the cupboard. :o Will need to crack on and use them up...

    7) Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel 150ml. WNBA. Just didn't feel as though it "cleaned" my skin. Plus it had been around for aaaages. Relieved I've finished it!

So, since starting this challenge in November I've finished 7 products. I'm delighted as it really concentrates the mind. At some point, I may well cheat and use up loads of my travel size bits to bump up my figures. ;)

Do people reset their UU at the beginning of each month or just continue (whenever that was)?

  • On a roll,another unexpected UU:

BS Dip in bronze eye shadow: This was a LHJ, it lasted 6 years! It's no longer sold so cannot replace it but the eye shadow I bought from Superdrug seems to be a decent replacement.

Two ins: 2 new eye shadow brushes to alternate between washes.

Kadison - I got the Lancôme gift set too, the eye palette is so lovely, it applies like as dream (as you would expect at their prices).

In the last month I have had to replace my dishwasher and washing machine, now the Sky remote control has packed up and last night the shower blew up whilst DH was in it. I have no sympathy for him as I have been telling him for weeks it smelt of burning but as usual he knows best :rotfl:.

  • Afternoon ladies,

A quick post from me as I have to get to the supermarket then get ready for our work night out. We're apparently meeting for cocktails at 5.30, that's the middle of the day! I will be late needless to say.

I have had 3 more UU, December has started off well, however I suspect the end of the month will be less successful :rotfl:

Clinique Self Sun body lotion - WNB, was a GWP and I wouldn't pay Clinique prices for this, I'll stick to my Johnsons Holiday Skin. It does the same job for much less money.

Body Shop Dreams Ltd perfume - WNBA, think it has been discontinued and I have so many perfumes to get through. I did cheat big style and UU the little handbag trial size, I have about a third left of the big bottle and I don't think I'll get through it in December but I really wanted a UU! :o

Lush Ultrabalm - WMBA, I had this a long time and it had definitely gone off so I used it up as foot cream, they don't mind! I initially struggled to remove this properly as a face cleanser but now I have discovered muslin cloths I might give it another go.

I received my sample of Effaclar Duo in the post today, I am looking forward to trying this especially for free! Thanks to whoever posted the link to this in the thread, I have forgotten who it was. I won't declare this as an In because I have no stash of spot products, sadly I get through them all too quickly :(

Good luck to any ladies who are braving the shops today!

  • Just popping in to say hello! and to ask you a question, it occurred to me that you lovely people would be the ones to ask :)

I have too many toiletries and more make up than I think I can use, what I don't have, however are decent make up brushes!! I still have the annoying cheap ones I bought as a teen, and it occurred to me that decent brushes would probably make my make up look better and if it's a pleasure rather than a chore, I'd be more likely to use it more and have more of a chance of getting through it!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So my question to you lovely ladies is which make up brushes do you recommend? I'm current looking at the Body Shop ones on for half price? Do any of you use them? are they any good?
