just been to get my hair cut and now feel very humbled listening to the tales of woe from other ladies.....husbands with cancer, divorce, then went to the post office and waited in the cold(its a van) with a woman whose daughter was in a wheelchair with a drip attached and a three legged dog!made me grateful for all that I have :)

resisted time to spa email even tho I have a £10 birthday coupon as know I need nothing

Temptation is everywhere, it is a struggle to resist for me as I think if I don't get it now I will never get another offer like it. So far I have resisted Debs 15% off, Body Shop 50% off, the Clinique GWP to name just a few.

I know it's a nightmare! I am so tempted by the 15% off in Debenhams, especially now they have added Mac to it. I keep thinking that I am missing out on offers too, although I know that Debenhams often do 10% off beauty. I would love the Naked palette but luckily it is sold out :rotfl: cannot justify the purchase at all as I am getting the third one for Christmas.

I have seen lots of things that I would like to get people for Christmas but everything is out of stock! Wanted to get my friend TBS smoky plum eye palette as thought would be a nice gift and is a good price, especially with 40 or 50% off but it has been out of stock for ages. Will have to look in store but not sure if can get discount in there.

I've been naughty and given into the recent M & S glitches:

Ins: 3 x 30 ml of M & S White Flowers Eau de Parfum : On first sniff, very floral (Obviously)

6 x 10 ml Eau de Tolilette True Red Purse sprays - Reminds me of another famous brand possibly DKNY.

Will declare a UU now to make up for the above as only a few sprays left: Tommy Hilfiger 10 Eau de Toilette. WNBA, initial scent is lovely but fades very quickly. Not sure if it's because it's a toilette rather than parfum.

What is the glitch? Am thinking for my work secret santa.

Quite often when Debenhams do the 10% off they do bonus points or have GWP's included which makes the 15% not as good as it seems. If you can get the bonus points out of them that is, they are a nightmare for adding points to your beauty card.

    Have two ins

La Roche Posay Effacler Duo - little sample tube through the post, I only use this in short burst so this size will be quite handy.

Witch Primer - supposed to be good for breakouts and as a primer so will give it a go.

Glad to hear your son came through the operation OK rosemary, and it was really good of the surgeon to call you and let you know everything went well. He will find something nice for Christmas dinner I'm sure.

I have UU a pot of Organic Surge facial moisturiser. This was part of a Glossybox I got a few months ago, and I'm not sure I'll buy this one again. It was just a little bit too heavy for my liking, and I'm trying to switch to SPF moisturisers.

Am also thinking of Rosemary and am glad the surgery went ok.

I'm using this moisturiser too at the moment and like you find it heavy to use. Don't like the fragrance of it either. Never mind, I noticed last night I can see the bottom of the pot so hopefully not much of it left.

Laura Mercier Colour wardrobe, not that i need ANY more Laura Mercier palettes lol! these usually go to 50% off on boxing day so I'm going to have a look and see if i can find one. i usually have a look in the Illamasqua sale too, they usually do a really good new year one and I've had some really good bargains from them.

I have just ordered a collection of Laura Mercier body souffles for Emma for Christmas. Think these look lovely.

I did get to the Trafford Centre yesterday and bought the MAC eyeshadows that she wants. I also took advantage of the 15% offer at Debenhams and got my sister the Daisy gift set, bought a tube of L'occitane Cherry Blossom hand cream for my friend at work and also a tube of Elemis Sensitive Shave Gel for MrM. Was pleased with these savings. I then bought a L'Occitane Cherry Blossom solid perfume to add to my friend's gift so she is getting a little hamper including those items above and a 250ml bottle of L'Occitane Cherry BLossom shower gel.

I was speaking to a girl at work today about her nice nail polish and she said she had the Ciate advent calendar. I was very jealous about her getting 24 new nail polishes! :rotfl: although I wouldn't want to declare all those Ins.

I saw this IRL on Monday at space nk in Manchester but could not sway MrM to buy it!! He cheekily asked if they were going to reduce them as we have now hit December and was politely told "No."

Repainted my nails last night and am wearing OPI Callin me a Lyre which is a very soft sheer french pink. Looks rather boring though.

Forgot to report another IN but not for me. Bought Emma a Sunnyside bubble bar from Lush on Monday when I was in Manchester.

Oh yeah hadn't thought of that actually, thanks!

Ooh what eyeshadows did you get? Sounds like you got some lovely things.

Hi Lyndsee, I think the glitch is over now but the beauty items were on offer over the weekend for 3 for the price of 2 and it was adding a further discount of 50% so you ended up receiving 3 items for the price of 1.
