In desperate need of a quick win I UU a sample sachet of Nivea in shower moisturiser. Was nicer this time as I have since realised you're not actually meant to wash with it.

The Elemis parcel arrived today which gives me a few INS:

    Tri-enzyme Papaya Peel 50ml
    Herbal Lavender Repair Mask 75ml

plus GWP of Pro-collagen Marine Cream and Cleansing Balm and couple of other bits
    Mortgage
    Start January 2017: $268,012
    Latest balance $266,734
    Reduction: $1,278.45

  • UUs:

    3. L'Occitane Flower Brightening Mask sachet - WMBA, lovely but expect it's expensive!
    4. Balance Me Moisture Rich face cream, 20ml - WNBA, really nice but too rich for my skin.
    5. St Ives Apricot Scrub 150ml - WBA, probably HG, but at the moment I'm loving Let The Good Times Roll from Lush and have enough of that to last me for months!
No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!

I decided to spend a little time going through "the part used stores" again recently, this has yielded a couple of TA's and made me look out others for finishing off:o

    UU
75ml Philip Kingsley Scalp Toning Tonic WBA, but going to try and locate something less expensive or try to make my own.
Time Delay Under Eye Patches, WNBA did not seem to doing anything more than my eye cream does.
    TA
Small amount of a 100 mil Hair Removal Cream. WNBA - use Epilator these days and never go swimming!
Small number of Facial Wax Hair removing strips, these had lost "stickiness". WNBA - I find them difficult to use.
Remainder of Benefit Dr Feelgood WNBA does not seem to do anything for me, already in use (and love) Bare Minerals Prime Time.

Whilst "pondering" have missed the SensatioNails kit, not too disappointed as I found the UV lamp and Seche UV topcoat that I bought just before I had surgery last year, it got mislaid in the spare room and covered with "stuff", so I will be buying some base coat and prep etc soon.

PYNOS - Spa Ritual Precious, I love their polishes and they are on the Cruelty Free List.

Last, but certainly not least, great news Rosemary, you must be so relieved.

thanks for all the good vibes ladies, the surgeon called last night from California and said all had gone well and DS1 has since messaged us to say some discomfort but not too bad.The worst is to come for him I think as his jaw will be wired for 4 weeks so no Christmas dinner :(

Awww poor him, he'll have to have one to celebrate New Year instead ;) Glad he's ok xx

    Hi all,

My plan for December (well by the 2th really ;) ) is to use up:

-tresemme shampoo - some has been decantered into soap dispenser in bathroom as I've run out of liquid soap, in fact I'm sure there was some bubble bath in the dispenser anyway ;)
    - avon shower gel...this is my last shower gel so let's hope I get some for Christmas!
    - hair dye as my hair really needs colouring!

Also plan to use up some travel sized toiletries when we go away next week :D
  • Glad to hear your son came through the operation OK rosemary, and it was really good of the surgeon to call you and let you know everything went well. He will find something nice for Christmas dinner I'm sure.

I have UU a pot of Organic Surge facial moisturiser. This was part of a Glossybox I got a few months ago, and I'm not sure I'll buy this one again. It was just a little bit too heavy for my liking, and I'm trying to switch to SPF moisturisers.

Can I just play devil's advocate/enabler here and ask if anyone has anything on their toiletries xmas wish list or to find in the sales at a super low price?

This is mine, hoping for about £20!

Really not holding out ANY hope though, it's out of stock on the main MB website and the link doesn't even get you to the product, so doubtful there'll even be any left come the sales :o

i have INs, put in an order for Bobbi Brown whilst there was good freebies on :) i just missed the free full size lip gloss offer but i really do not need lipgloss so I'm kind of glad i missed it! id rather have skincare than the make up free gifts as i at least get through it then.

    IN:
Vitamin enriched face base - HG and I've missed it SO much since i ran out!
    Smokey eye liner brush
    then freebies of:
30ml hydrating face cream (I also love this!)
30ml long wear eye make up remover - had before and love for taking off going out make up
15ml cleansing oil - will be good for my gym bag

also due soon is an order of UNII palettes. ive got two and got my mum one for xmas, the hinge on mine broke the other day :( its had 3 years of daily use though so its done very well!

all going away in my stash for xmas though! :)

Laura Mercier Colour wardrobe, not that i need ANY more Laura Mercier palettes lol! these usually go to 50% off on boxing day so I'm going to have a look and see if i can find one. i usually have a look in the Illamasqua sale too, they usually do a really good new year one and I've had some really good bargains from them.

Pleased to hear your son came through the op ok rosemary.

    UU:

    5. Nivea Soft Moisturising Lotion 25ml - WNBA, did the job but I prefer body butters.

And with that I think I have graduated in travel size body lotions. For the next 21 days, anyway. Or until I raid the toiletries gift sets I have stashed :D
