All the very best with the kitting, happycrafter, but could you please note that you'll now find your No is a lot earlier than you thought as - you already joined yonks ago! :wall:
oops sorry didnt know i joined that long ago!!
i think that was when i first started out and then had lots of real life issues and I drifted away, but I am back and more determined than ever to get rid of this debt.
put a few more coins in the jar today, i still have a £5 note left from my weekly tenner and hoping to pot the whole thing at the end of the week.0 -
Have been potting quite a bit over the past couple of weeks since the new thread started. £1 I found in a locker, a few £2 coins I got in change and £2.50 we got for selling some ragbag clothes. Have also been emptying change from my purse on a Sunday night so hopefully it's all adding up.
We don't tend to spend during the week as we all take packed lunches and DS has his dinner money sorted at the start of a month but it will be interesting to see how the year unfolds.0 -
Ended up breaking my £10 note as I could not for the life of me find the change I had put by for the littlies lunch. Of course after I broke the note I found the change .
Anyway, the dross (£10.10) has all been potted. Why is it so much easier to pot coins than notes? Suppose coins make the pot feel heavier :rotfl:.
I'm not planning on venturing out much for the next week or so (well Next for the Boxing Day sale - got £100 giftcard and £100 put by so any change from that will go in) so probably wont pot much until the New Year.0 -
