    Hello everyone :D...

How fast is this thread moving now :rotfl: :D :rotfl:?
Not a bad week so far: I've frozen a big batch of Sausage Casserole, Passatta, and some Curry :j , certain items stockpiled in preparation for the Christmas period madness, crackers bought :j, and kids Christmas parties done :D :A :D.
Just need to finish: sanding and painting the toilet floor, the same for the kitchen table and then some last minute shelf building and organising to do  :D .

Hope you're all keeping well ;).

    Happy Potting everyone .

Feel as if I've been a bit naughty today. Potted a shiny 20p (that's not the naughty bit) and a £5. My friend last year gave my son a present so that started the whole present thing which I was a little annoyed with as she has 2 children. To cut a long story short, I had got them small gifts this year and was also going to give £5 each in a gift wallet, but have decided NO - they can just have the gifts as I don't want to raise the expectation bar iykwim. Short term I have kept hold of one of the notes incase I dither, but the other - yep, gone in the tin. No plop noise but an entirely satisfied feeling ramming it in the top!! By the way, is anyone else like me? As soon as I could once I got in from work, I came and caught up with this thread? hadn't even had a cup of tea.......
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • My thoughts were to anyone with a black or white one, Ruth, I'd just hate to hurt anyone's feelings. Though we have a black Lab and it wouldn't worry me if anyone has a yellow, gold or chocolate. I'm off of that topic. :rotfl: BTW, here's a gold star for sorting folk out earlier. Thank you. :staradmin

Ah, i'm sure folk won't get offended at that. It's not like you're saying you hate their dog. Dogs, like people, should be judged as individuals!! heehee

Thank you for my star, i shall pop it on my signature.

Casually painting my nails at work shhh heehee

    Evening Everyone,

Sue-UU - unless I'm going daft (which is very possible..) I can't see my name on the list for new numbers - my OH is trying to convince me this means the end of the hubby rummages but I want really would like to be part of the 2014 gang and hopefully beat this year's total (which will go towards my son's fundraising for Meningitis Research). Please could you allocate me a new number when you get the chance? icon7.gif

    Thanks Sue xx

  • I'm new and I set up my pot yesterday. An ice cream tub with a slit cut in the top sellotaped up. I potted everything less than a 50p from my purse and added a £2 coin to a separate pot. So I'm up and running.

Plan to start searching for road kill from tomorrow.

No ToniLiz, it isn't you, it's this daft beggar here who's as daft as a brush! :( I'm so sorry to have knocked you off, you weren't the only one though so don't feel too bad. A very warm welcome back to you! I'd like to say I was thinking of your poor ravaged hubby, but I'd only ever egg you on with that. :rotfl: I think I'd better check through that bloomin list again to see if anyone else is missing, thankfully I still have the old ones. So sorry, ToniLiz - forgiven?

    Excellent saving, purple angel! :j

nu1isit?, you are a brilliant hubby to your dear Wife, always doing something to benefit you all, your a near Saint.

Oh my word, AlwaysHappy, that's terrible, but in a heck of a good way!! :rotfl: It really made me laugh, though I do wonder just how many of us here would have done exactly the same given the circumstances. I don't blame you at all, in fact I commend your actions. :T
The question is, nanto3girls, how DID you miss it yesterday?

    Good for you, 32b3.....

    ....you too, slowlyfading.

That's brilliant, Tiggyw00, hardly cost you a thing and you're away already. All the best for tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now as they're all done and simply need swapping over. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. forums.moneysavingexpert.comPlease change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

    Sue x
