Afternoon all, weather is changing here now, not as good as it was!!

More newbies - great. Welcome and good luck with your savings.

    newlifeahead - nice road-kill.

I've just got off the "naughty step" again. I've washed my mouth out [STRIKE]with a glass of Shiraz[/STRIKE]. ;)

    Potted 5 x £1 coins and 5 x 20p coins.

I've got most of the "goodies" now and just a few bits and bobs needed.
Turkey crown and fresh stuff next week for an easy week.
Hope everyone is in control or just slightly in a panic.

Sue the membership numbers are looking a lot more manageable now that all the missing members have been taken out of the equation it makes life a lot easier ( for both of us I hope!)

    15 X £2 coins, 1 X 50p, daily £3 plus 1p potted today

The wind is getting up here in sparky land
, so I'm off to batten down the hatches & wait for my DW to get home from work, stay safe & keep saving everyone

Oh it'll definitely make it so much easier for us both, sparks, no more needing to get the No before putting a Target on.....then forgetting by the time I almost get there! Makes T laugh at times. :p BTW, it's really vile down here so I hope J is home before it gets really bad ooop the Pool.

Well folks, that Grand Total is only a few day away now as we don't seem to be getting many more stragglers. I PROMISE you it'll be on before Christmas and considering the year we've had and all those who haven't returned, I'm very proud of it and you all. :T:D:T

6p roadkill in the pot - yay!

Went out with my Mum today who owed me some money for presents - it got to her searching for the last couple of pounds and she said 'all I've got is a load of change, is that okay?' YEEEAAAAAH, fine by me, it can go in my pot!!!!!! Happy bunny is me. Sad innit!

Thanks for the chuckle, curly. :rotfl: I had a fantastic mental image of that situation in my mind. Happy bunny indeed and nothing sad at all. :j
She's not going to be spoiled is she, Ruth?! I adore the colour far more so than black or white ones. Sorry if I've just hurt anyone's feelings, it's me that's odd not you. No comments to that!

Oh Lynsey, did you HAVE to go on about turkey crown etc...I saw it sizzling along with roasties, veg and S&O stuffing mixed with a couple of sausages (lush).

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now as they're all done and simply need swapping over. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :grinheart Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart

Sue - I need that "cheap" crown first though. lol
I also need my Son's veggie roast - nearly forgot about that.

Can't wait for the Grand Total - my guess (and hope) is that it smashes right through the £50k barrier.

BTW, I think you've done the right thing with the numbers and tidying things up. Well done, the work hasn't been unnoticed. Hope Santa looks after you.

Ahhh its been all go in this household this last week or so, DS is being a right little . . . . . at school :( the way he's going, father Christmas wont be visiting him at all this year (which would be awful as DD is really in the *belief* era of her life and would be so heartbroken if we came down Christmas morning to no presents for him)
My mums car decided to dump all its oil on Saturday so shes now driving round in our little smart car while the garage try and fix it and we are all wondering if she will get it back this side of Christmas. She likes our old girl but she drives 40 miles each way everyday to work out in the sticks (proper tractor land) and in the current weather every lorry makes her feel like shes taking off!

On a more happier note, went to see DD's school nativity today, they were all so sweet, ok I couldn't hear half of what was said, and when DD had her 1 line she decided to talk to the back of the stage, but still it was magical and they all so obviously enjoyed it :D first one DH and I have seen with her as she was poorly last year so missed the performance . . . . btw, she was a sheppard :D

odd bits of scrapnel in the pot, no idea how much as haven't been counting!

Wohooo! Found my first "roadkill" tonight, it was on the floor of the bus. I nearly walked past it and had to back track to make sure I wasn't seeing things!! :rotfl:It was a lovely little 5p. It's gone straight in the pot as soon as I walked in the door. Then I came straight to the 'puter to celebrate with you all :rotfl:

Erm, being an only dog it would be rude not to spoil her right?? haha, no, she will have to work hard too. If i want to learn agility with her we will both have to put a lot of effort in. She will earn all the goodies she gets that's for sure!
She has a beautiful white chest but is mostly a creamy red everywhere else. Mum and dad we're both red so not sure where the white has come from lol.
I don't really understand what you mean by hurting peoples feelings :( I'm sure you won't though.

Potted £5.03. £5 was the money I saved on extra money to be spent on fares to training that was cancelled and the 3p was road change.

Hello to all, "old" and new!! Have only been on here a couple of days but already feel right at home, seems like a lovely cheerful thread keeping everyone motivated which is GREAT!! Some amazing amounts being flung in to those pots, making me feel a little envious that I only have 56p to add to mine today, but its going in the right direction isn't it, and would have been wasted if in my purse.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
