Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Potted some change from the kids lunch money. :T
Enrolled on my course and ordered some books for further reading and research. Feeling a little excited about it now. After writing my first assignment may not feel as excited lol.
Youngest DD birthday tomorrow she will be 10. She is so excited. Had a TV for her bedroom and DH going to sort the sky out so it can go into her bedroom. Hurrah no more American kids programmes for me to have to listen to!!!:T:T:T:T:T She went with dad to buy it yday. She is having money from us to go towards it and everyone has given money towards it. DH got it for a lot cheaper than we thought so I think she will have some money left over. I feel a clothes shopping trip coming on.
I will post more often and try and pot the odd change here and there. Love and hugs to all xxx[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

What happened to the heat-wave?? Have we had it??
mumof3plusoh - Birthday wishes to your Daughter. Hope she has a wonderful happy day.
I'm being extra frugal at the minute, trying to clear a freezer before my hols so I can switch it off. Just picking up bits and bobs.

Afternoon all.
166million - nice road-kill. No road-kill for myself of note lately, well apart from 1p left in the s/scan till in Morries today.
I love how warm the £2 coins are from the Morries s/scan tills.
3 x £2 coins potted, 1 x 50p and 2 x 20p's = £6.90 potted.

Should have been £25 extra as that's how much I won on the lottery Wednesday but DH decided he wanted to spend it on a meal out for just we two.2 mixed grills plus 3 drinks each came to £24.96 at the local W$thersp00ns. Very nice.
Just 34p in today.
Hugs to all in need.32b3in2013 wrote: »Evening

The moonwalk was indeed hard, but the money raised for cancer research was well worth it Sue xx

Your DH he, jakes-mum!!! Keep right on slapping him then...naughty naughty man!
Great news about the win, Modesty! I think your DH was right as a meal out will have done you good. It sounded delicious. Next time go for a bigger win and pot some as well then!
I'll bet it was, 32b3, such a well-deserved cause..though aren't they all!
Excellent potting, Saver-upper! Keep at it.mossy wrote:Did half of my shop in Waitrose and brought DFIL (is that a thing?) some bottles of beer for his 60th Birthday present. Each one had 'old' in the title...tee hee hee!! Good job he loves me!:A
Of course there's such a term as DFIL, mossy, well there is here anyway. A good job he loves you with the "old" gifts.
Don't worry, cattysmum, I don't think any of us Grandparents would expect to pot much after a week away with Grandchildren, they're pricey beings and we can't help spoiling them, bless em! Well done your DGS.
Good for you, Vicky!
Very well done, Emily, and thanks for adding it to your siggy.
Dixon of Dock Green, Older But Not Wiser??! Nah, never heard of it. Yes I too am of that era, evening all...what a thing to admit too, though we're a lot younger for our years than previous generations! Very wise on the food bit, though don't even look at me with the slab of chocolate....oh, you'll be lucky - or not! :rotfl:
Oi Rosy! Where's my half of that egg???!
Lovely to see you back, LC 2, if only for a fleeting visit. Stay well.
You're not kidding, little-sweetie, it was such an emotional time and she looked gorgeous.
A brilliant find in that £1 roadkill, 166million!! :j
Lovely to hear you so happy, mumof3plusoh, keep it up.Wonderful saving, everyone, keep it up and you'll be ecstatic when we empty the pots in November!!Sue x
