Good evening, sorry to report not much potting done this month, been away with grandchildren for last week emptied the pennies/two pennies jar before we went for amusement treats, and all my spare change went on ice creams and other seasidey trash that kids love. But now home and have emptied my change and have popped £1.75 into pot, Im itching to have a count up to see how Im doing but will resist. Whilst we were away one of my grandkids (so takes after me) was checking all twopenny pusher machines in amusement arcades and he kept finding odd twos and ten pences that kept him going when his allowance ran out !

  • I've been a pretty rubbish potting-updater but I have been potting nonetheless! Went to a car boot this morning (bought a few new tops for 50p each yay!) and came home with £7.35 change which has gone straight in my pot. It's feeling nice and heavy now!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

Evenin' All (can't say that without remembering that programme - anyone else remember Dixon of Dock Green or am I the only one old enough? :D)

Well I've potted a little bit of change today but it's been another light week as my spending has been on cards rather than cash (never good news for me!) But I really wanted to say that this challenge has served me very well today as it stopped me breaking my diet/incurring the expense of ordering a pizza. The only reason I didn't was that I had no cash to tip the delivery person as I'd potted it already and I'd be too embarrassed to order one and not give a tip.

So, I settled for a couple of ryvita with marmite for which my waistline thanks you all. Course if anyone wants to fax me over a pizza or slab of chocolate I'd eat it just to be polite :p

    Happy potting all.
