We had a smashing meal out with our friends last night. DH drove for a change which meant that I could enjoy a couple of glasses of wine (I'm usually on mineral water) and we picked our friends up to save them a taxi fare. Unbeknown to us they had a points reward voucher for £50 !! We had 2 starters, 4 main courses, 3 desserts and a bottle of wine for just under £12 cash :eek: which DH paid, of course. Considering I didn't think our friends were at all MSE I was more than impressed
As I didn't need to spend my last tenner after all, as DH bought the beer, I have donated it to our dear rosyq for her Walk The Walk. My mum and SiL survived breast cancer, my cousin lost her fight last year so it's a cause close to my heart.
Sorry to be off topic Sue as I have no money left to pot
I just wanted to share.... Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Hello *waves enthusiastically*
Did the grocery shopping yesterday so potted the £7 or so change (including 3 x £2 coins) before I could be tempted to spend them. I'm in the thick (thick being the operative word) of trying to do my tax return so there is a bit of me that thinks I DESERVE a treat of chocolate. Good thing I'm too lazy to go to the shops and buy some :rotfl:
Hope you're all doing OK and potting your fortunes. Think I'm going to owe all of mine to HMRC :mad:0 -
Hellooooooooooooooo Potterssssssssssssssss
*waves to LC2* Will you stop gallavanting all over the place woman! I can't keep up with you :rotfl:

Very upset as DS beat me to a 5p roadkill!  how very dare he! lets just hope he leaves it in his trouser pocket on wash day so I get it anyway
