Ooh swapped some lovely notes for change in my work petty cash today - well it's a right pain counting it and thought it would just be jolly rude not too

Got some lovely shiny £2 coins for the fat terramundi and smaller loose change for the Sealed pot :j

Sorry to hear your news LynneJK and hope it won't be too difficult for OH to find another job. Always worrying though whatever the circumstances.

Only a couple of coins to pot today and pot isn't nearly heavy enough for my liking! Not potting the dosh saved from quitting smoking as that's earmarked for something else but it means I don't go to the shop/spend so often these days so not so much coinage. Ah well, can't have it every which way I suppose

Another £2 coin and some shrapnel in the pot yesterday. Will probably be back to potting very little again now as back to work on Tuesday and don't really spend anything at work (thankfully!!).

Still potting away and treated the pot to a £5 yesterday because I was good and resisted too much temptation whilst out shopping

Hello Sealed Pot Peeps

I realise I'm late in asking but can I join please?

We've recently had a hard time inflicted on us financially and I want to save every penny I can. We sold our car today and I found £2.45p in it when I cleared it out... I could have done with that on a couple of recent occasions :mad:

I have a 'kitty' for groceries and pay cash for household expenses except DD's for utilities, rent, pet insurance, home insurance etc. After the end of the April GC I shall put anything remaining in the kitty into the Marmite pot (ceramic pot for odd change). At the end of the May GC the Marmite pot will be emptied into the sealed pot, which is a moneybox house that I'm sealing the bung on. That way we'll have a working kitty, some loose change which will build up and cover any unforeseen circumstances and then my growing sealed pot... that's the plan for now anyhoo

If I'm too late or have asked incorrectly can somebody tip me the wink please?

Have a read of Page 1 and Sue (our leader) will allocate you a number once she's back on.

Not many about - all the "posh" ones are on Easter breaks.
