Congratulations,Loveactually:what fantastic news :j
Mrsdalloway I am sorry about your daughter.I know it can be a slow recovery condition, but I hope your daughter recovers quickly.
Well,I have been doing alot of decluttering over the last few weeks. Now I am getting down to real nitty-gritty stuff.Today I was sorting out the horror that is our understairs (how I wish it had a door to hid all our sins).Amongst all the tat, found 2 day-packs belonging to my partner.Rummaging between them,I decluttered a total of £8.01.Excellent food for my pot,I figured.I kept hold of it for the day, incase I found any other coins to add to it.
Then tonight, feeling a little bit bad, I asked him if he would like all the money of his I had found while decluttering today. For some strange reason,he said "yes".I think he is going to add it to his own pot (a holiday fund).
Mental note to self:must grow stronger conscience.
I did get to pot £1.02 found on top of the washing machine.I don't know where it came from-I'd never noticed a £1 coin sitting ontop of washing machine before.Potted.Before I think of admitting its presence to OH as wellSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

...Took DD to the doctors this morning as she came out in a horrible rash on her face. Shingles - horrible place for a teenage girl to get it. By late afternoon it has spread quite badly, so went back to the docs who sent her straight up to the hospital for tests. Hours later and DH is still up there with her
I raided my purse and gave them my last four £1 coins. Figured that they need it far more than me or my pot.
Just hope they both come home soon. Missing my baby

sparky - I had a tear in my eye when I read your post. So lovely.
On with my potting: just 25p potted today, but it's better than no 25p isn't it?
Take care all. DH and I will be away for a few days, so no potting opportunities as we'll be spending Euros.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Well for the first weekday i took the puppy for a walk three times around the field without making an excuse as to why i couldn't go. I felt amazing for it. I think i'll do the walking for a while before i start the C25K so i don't kill myself.Saver-upper wrote: »Mental note to self:must grow stronger conscience.
Nooo it is a good thing. You don't want to go around stealing money. You maybe just need to word your question better... "Hubby, i found this change whilst spending the day cleaning. I think it might be yours. Would you mind me potting it" then give him a gigantic grin. How could he refuse.
I have 55p to pot this evening. Must acquire more change!!Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4
