...Our lovebird George has all of a sudden become very sociable and loves to sit on everyones head grooming them! ... the kids are happier as he now actually wants to play with everyone...
Yay! Well done George. I'm sure he is also much happier too now that he is not so worried all the time and can come out and actually be with you.
Also, i am extremely jealous of your kitchen aid. I really want to bake more and make my own food but i feel like i can't where i am living. As soon as i manage to move into a place of my own i will make it one of my first non-essential purchases then you'll all be invited for coffee and cake!!sparky0107 wrote: »
Thank you so much for sharing Sparky. I love to read good stories that come from bad events. It just makes the world seem a much lovelier place.
Your Easter activities sound amazing and such a wonderful thing to do!!32b3in2013 wrote: »Tomorrow is the start of my third week of the couch to 5k running plan. 2 weeks ago I struggled to run for 1 minute, last night I ran for 7 minutes, 3 times with only a 2 minute walking break between each 7 minutes. Well done!!! I am planning on starting this soon and dragging the pup along with me. It's great to know a real person benefiting from it and seeing it work! I downloaded the app a year or more ago but have not yet used it.blue_mango wrote: »I wonder if I should open a separate savings account for this challenge not to lose the track of the amount saved...
I have a separate one for mine. That way i know that i am not to touch it AT ALL WHAT-SO-EVER! It also means i can transfer in any monies i make online and things like that. It has it's own interest too.Loveactually wrote: »I have good news to share my IVF has worked and I m now 5 weeks pregnant I m so thrilled and happy about it.
CONGRATULATIONS!! another little SPC baby
My potting is on the up!! WOOHOO! I found out the other day that i have over £100 in my car  i think some of this really needs to come out and be potted. So that will be making its way over as soon as i've decided what i can take out without causing myself panic! I completely emptied my purse at the weekend and all the change went into my pot. Only problem is that i forgot to replace the money with notes from the bank so i have had no money at all today which has made saved me around £4 that i will pot as soon as i have it.
I managed to save over £200 on my car insurance so that is fantastic! I finally got my invoice from the work i had done to my car 6 weeks ago, it is £500which is also less than i thought. When i go to pay i will have the brakes re-checked but that shouldn't cost anything.
All in all i think i'm having a good month!Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

He's def happier, we get alot of beak crunching and everytime you walk in the room hes straight up on the bars trying to get as close to you as possible, when you walk away he starts shouting after you :rotfl:
He's also learnt how to make the kissing noise so every so often you suddenly hear 'kissing sounds' then 'pretty boy' and 'georgie', DH keeps trying to teach him rude words  i'm going to take my slipper to him if the bird starts swearing :mad: everyones still arguing over who george loves more though :rotfl: he's very popularUnfortunately I think he loves his plastic punch bag with the bell in more than any of us as thats what he cwtches up to when he goes to sleep
Highly recommend the kitchen aid, I know its rediculously expensive but oh my god does it make baking easy :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Nearly potted £4 today but it wasn't to be...
...Took DD to the doctors this morning as she came out in a horrible rash on her face. Shingles - horrible place for a teenage girl to get it. By late afternoon it has spread quite badly, so went back to the docs who sent her straight up to the hospital for tests. Hours later and DH is still up there with her
I raided my purse and gave them my last four £1 coins. Figured that they need it far more than me or my pot.
Just hope they both come home soon. Missing my babySPC7 # 369 £634.26 achieved!

Evening
The couch to 5k certainly works crimson.addict. I can feel it working. I still run really slowly, but the running motion is the important thing, not whether you can win a race. I thoroughly recommend it
Congrats Loveactually xx
Potted £4.64 today. I am so looking forward to a long weekend off of work.

If everything goes well EDD is in December. So the money I m potting will be used for baby stuff rather than a trip to NY.
Happy potting everyone
Big congrats on your baby news and certainly a fab way to spend your pot :T:T
