One shiny 50p today! But to quell my obsession with counting my wee coffee jar over and over my parents bought me the biggest can bank I've ever seen. Oh how I've loved the 'clink' of dropping every coin in this morningLBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50

Hi everyone
I don't post much here but I'm still saving!
I pot everything except £1 coins, but £2 coins & 50p coins are my faves!
I may not last until November, as I may open the tins once my maternity pay kicks in come September!
My lovely husband have me 3 shiny £2 coins on Friday to pot! I'm very easily plea passed :-)0 -
Another £2 coin from a FB sale :j :j and DH just handed me a handful of schrapnel out of his pocket from his night down the pub. He's currently nursing what he describes as 'the hangover from hell' . . not that im enjoying his suffering or anything . . one day he will realise he's no longer 25 and cannot go out drinking for 4 hrs
I obviously feel very sorry for him and am in no way considering sending the children down the shed where he's gone to hide

Hello all
I've opened my tin and counted £288.55, made it up to £300 and will bank it tomorrow. Also, I emptied all of my other envelopes which I was using for budgeting and counted another £300. Don't feel comfortable keeping this amount of cash in my room as it's a shared house in a not so nice area.
I wonder if I should open a separate savings account for this challenge not to lose the track of the amount saved...0 -
Less than 50p in the pot today, this included a very dull 5p roadkill found on holiday. Not much going into my pot, but every little helps!SPC # 348 2014-£169.07/2015 - £156.89
