Great to see everyone potting along nicely and Good Luck to all chipping away at the DEBT monster. Keep going, even though it feels uphill sometimes, as it is sooo fantastic when it's gone :T

A measly £1.22 for my pot yesterday, but I'm gutted because, when I went to Lidl I left my £1 coin in the trolley
Won't do that again in a hurry.
On the bright side, I spent quite a bit less than I budgeted for, so I've got £30 left in my purse. Hoping to hang on to as much of that as I can this week so that I can pot a bit more next week.
It's FRIDAYYYYYY! Have a lovely weekend everyone.SPC7 # 369 £634.26 achieved!

A very warm welcome, Shop-Til-You-Drop, frasersmum123 and GaLa15. It's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourselves saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 1st post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
GaLa15, would you like me to put your £800 goal on as your Target?
Gold stars for lovely welcomes to new members go to, DreamerHelen :staradmin, 32b3 :staradmin, Lynsey :staradmin and to little_sweetie:staradmin for sorting boobiebonboo's number out for me, thank you kindly.
Nelly11 could you please put your SPC No on your siggy! It really is necessary I promise you. Here again is how to do it:
I'm so glad your Aunt's funeral went well for you, AlwaysHappy, keep in touch with the family really regularly, it'll help you feel even 'closer' to them all almost as if you've paid them a visit.
Very well done with the bets, Pickle and ToniLiz!!! :T:T
A brilliant £100 transport saving, Loveactually!! :TIndie_Kid wrote:Is someone planning a countdown on the number of days left?
Preferably not until we get a LOT closer to November. The countdown usually begins in September as most of us members have holidays etc between now and then and there aren't so many on the thread as a result...and we really don't want members continually quoting the posts of others. :eek:blue_mango wrote:I am also thinking about counting my pot as I don't want to have loads of coins at the end of a year. But still resistingPlus I would need to buy a new tin if I opened this one.
Long wait until November........
That's ok, blue_mango, you're welcome to bank yours as well, no need for a new pot then!If you do bank it then please put the amount banked on your siggy.

Nell that is just the VERY BEST NEWS OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!:T:j
:T:j
I swear your courage, determination and oh so positive attitude has helped carry you through this last awful year.
I'm absolutely delighted for you and your family, now you can look ahead with life and living it to the full!!!!!
boobiebonboo wrote:Hi sue! Can you check if my number is the same as last year as I cant see it!
Sorry boobiebonboo, your No has changed, and as little_sweetie explains it's now No 81. I had to go through the list with a fine tooth comb before Christmas as a lot of members no longer come on MSE, as a result old members have needed to have Nos changed or to rejoin. Don't forget to change it on your siggy, many thanks.
Good to hear about your kitchen aid, jakes-mum, use it well!
All the best in doing all you can to become debt-free as soon as you possibly can, Hope! Budget well and save hard.
Sorry not to have been on for a few days, folks, had a wonderful day out last Friday, but I've been rough ever since. On the way back now but will take another couple of days to be safe. Keep up the amazing savings that you're all getting and remember....NO amount is measly as it still gives a head start to your next £1!!!!Have a really lovely weekend,SPCers, with plenty of potting!
Sue x
