Get better soon our Sue, and don't worry, the kitchen aid will earn its money if my lot have anything to do with it ;) DH is now halfway through the cake and is currently sulking as DD is insisting he shares with her :rotfl: have bought more butter today and will be making gluten free chocolate cookies tomorrow (and maybe some muffins :D)

£3 in my pot today after selling some old boxing gloves, have spent the day trying to find out about help for DH's uncle and aunt, attendance allowance is a new one on me and not looking forward to tackling the form but needs must :(

Aww,Sue,I am sorry you haven't been well.I hope you feel much better soon.

Because it is school holidays,I had to take 3 of my 4 children to the supermarket(#groan#).I had taken £100 with me,and only intended to buy a birthday present for a 5yo school friend, and top-up groceries.Well,in Sainsbury's there were lots of activity/crafty toys, reduced for the holidays,so I stocked up.Saves having to run to the shops everytime I have a child invited to a party.
During the shop, kids were trying to talk me into buying them lunch at Sainsbury ("Grandma always buys us lunch here.......").Well,when I finished grocery shop, went to see if I could by lunch(food only,no drinks) for 3 children with my £13.69 change, and I couldn't .The meals my kids wanted weren't available as kids portions(fancy not selling a kid's lasagne meal !),and I didn't have enough to buy 3 meals.Cue disappointed and complaining children.
Well,we all got over that, but I think I am so lucky to have saved that £13.69,I am going to pot it.

£1.50 in the pot already today from a FB sale :D plus made my mum £14 so far and should have another £10'er in about half an hour, if the lady turns up i'll be mightily impressed as that will mean all 6 people who arranged to collect from me in the last 4 days actually did! :j :j never happened before :rotfl:

Completely off topic (I just cant help myself :rotfl:) but our lovebird George has all of a sudden become very sociable and loves to sit on everyones head grooming them! You can't walk past him while he's out without hearing his wings and feeling 2 feet in your hair :rotfl: he's taken a special like to Jakes hair (I think because its such a birds nest, he thinks its a second home ;)) been a long time coming as we did have a bit of biting and he was very nervous of hands coming toward him (still doesn't like hands unless he's on the perch in the hallway), but a huge step forward and the kids are happier as he now actually wants to play with everyone . . . much more like a pet IYSWIM :o
