Is someone planning a countdown on the number of days left?

88p potted today. Had to go to the post office today and used the self service machines. Not that I'm complaining; but why does it have to give me a load of 1ps? All other service machines are just as bad - I can't ever remember reciving a £5 note from the machines at the train station when my change has been £5-something.

Noooooooooooooooo! I dont want it, hoping it will completely bypass the south east :(

Sent the kids to the post office today and DS handed me a £5 note, 2 x £1 coins, a 50p and little bit of shrapnel. £5er and 50p went in purse, both £1 coins went in the buy back pot, and all shrapnel went into the pot :D

Oh and after thinking the comping fairy had forsaken me, I had an email saying ive won a DVD :) nearly at £500 in wins so not doing badly so far this year :j :j

My potting does seem to stop today. I've just had a sort out of our desk and have managed to salvage 2 x 20p and 5 x 5p! :j :j

Now, what shall I sort out now in the hope of finding more cash for potting?! :D :money:

Cleared out purse at weekend and had a couple of £2 coins and some other change so that all went into the pot.

Yay!! a whole 5p roadkill which was a little tricky to collect as it was on the edge of a road, but I had bags in both hands, but I was not to be beaten. Felt exhilarated to have found some.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • £6.62 which my DS bought home into the pot.
