Hi
Thanks for your good wishes about my little win yesterday.
Just wanted to say I have never been in a bookies in my life before yesterday! I bumped into a colleague near the shops and he had just bet so he asked me if I was betting, I said I didn't know what to do and he took me I to the bookies and placed the bet for me! I only picked that horse because it sounded like wine - pineau something and wore my birthday 29 on his back! I didn't watch the race and only checked later on when having tea! I was so giddy and even more so because £9 went into my pot!
Not going to take it up as a hobby though - scared I might lose next time! Xx0 -
Potted another £5.66p today and another £2 coin. Tins are filling nicely now that they are hidden. Can probably start filling even if people about as money dropping in barely makes a noise

5p roadkill yesterday after mum took me and miss lily to town to get her some clothes (the child will NOT stop growing
) and miss lily convinced her that she NEEDED! a jam doughnut from the bakers. Just as we were walking out I saw it sat next to the door so picked it up and put it in my pocket
Been out today and got her more clothes (our town is tiny, with only 2 clothes shops one of which was having technical difficulties so couldn't take any payments!) so she now has tshirts and shorts that actually fit, and after much tantruming and 'i dont wanna' a pair of short dungarees. Unfortunately to convince her to buy said dungarees, I had to agree to buying her a batman tshirt  I seriously give up with the child, she bypasses the entire girls section and heads straight for the boys section everytimeShe is now the proud owner of 4 mincraft tshirts, 1 batman tshirt and a pack of 3 tshirts that are bright orange, blue and light blue that I couldnt decide whether they were in the boys or the girls section . . .

Hi Guys,
Not been on for a while, but just popped on to say I actually won £83 from a £5 bet yesterday - can' t believe it! We only have one bet a year and it's on the Grand National so was really chuffed when our little chappy came 1st. Winnings will go straight into the pot of course. :TSealed Pot Challenge - No: 223
