Too right you should be compensated for them not delivering, mossy, up and at 'em girl! BTW hope you are settling in nicely to your new home :)

Aww thanks, yeah the house is going well. It still feels like we get 'surprises' aka things going wrong, all of the time but actually I'm starting to move on from that and just enjoying being in our own home again!! We know this is where we are meant to be and so I have faith that all of the 'surprises' will get sorted and the finances to cover them will all come together.

We have our own home...yay, we have our own home!! :D :j :T :heart2: :p :www:

Ahh LC2, glad your loving your new home, though bet your Dh is just like mine, he moans about my constant cupboard re-organising, yet hes always down the shed rehoming his fishing gear ;)

Had a spendy day yesterday (blatantly egged on by DH!) and bought myself a kitchen aid :o wanted one for years so finally decided that I would spend some of my savings and get myself one :D

Been to town today as its the misery's birthday on thursday, thought id be uber organised and buy all the cards I need for the next 3 months in the card factory . . . £4.40 later  . . . then went to the post office so am left with 17p for the pot, slowly potting my fortune :rotfl:

  • Hi all,

As part of my new drive to be frugal I've been visiting the cheaper supermarkets. I've obviously not really got the hang of it as I've come out with a load of stuff that I didn't really need or intend to buy so it's costing me MORE to shop

Oh well, at least I've got a few coins to pot after today's little spending spree. I've also got about a years worth of chocolate, biscuits etc to eat cos they were so cheap I couldn't resist...:(

Right, off in search of sunglasses, sun tan lotion and a bikini (only joking, it's proper cold here!)

Bit embarrassed - we actually had some sun today - not very warm but at least could see across the Firth today. Don't think I'll go hunting for my shorts yet
