    Well.
Yesterday I went shopping at new supermarket that had only opened up on Monday.Had to have abit of a nosey :D.While waiting my turn at the self-serve till (aaaaagggges!),I kept looking at the display of 1/2price Ben and Jerry ice cream.I considered buying it(2 tubs,of course!) for the next 10 minutes while waiting my turn(did I mention I was waiting aaaaagggges??Anyone would think people had never shopped in an ASDA before, hehe).
Anyway, kept thinking about my pot.So I didn't buy the ice cream:decided a fiver in the pot would definately be worth it.
I bought the said fiver home, intending to pot it before going to bed.
In the evening, eldest daughter says "Mmmmuuuuuuummmmm, can I have some money for lunches at school-about £5 to put on my pre-paid card".
So I didn't get to pot my fiver anyway !
But I have made a mental note to pot faster :rotfl:
    Like immediately:rotfl:
Might start carrying my 2 pots in my handbag and pot before I return the supermarket trolley to the trolley bay :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    81p potted today.

GREAT - more new people to say WELCOME :hello:

OH has started to notice that my purse doesn't create cash, he was looking for money the other day and had to; shock horror go to a bank . On the plus side I still have about £1 in change in there it's obviously not worth stealing. I think that this could be a new plan for me in my save the pennies up campaign.:rotfl:

Strange that isn't it ?? DH asked for a sub a few weeks ago and I said I was out of cash and he'd have to run me to the bank. He said he might as well go himself on the way to work in the morning in that case :j He's not asked since :rotfl:

Try putting sprigs of HOLLY between the branches it favours, it'll soon learn that they can pack quite a punch.

Enjoy your day, potters. To all our Scottish/Northern SPCers....please do take care! Keep indoors and WARM!!

    Sue x

I was just wondering if I was the only 'BAH Humbug' on here as now childless I don't put one up so early - my neighbour has flashing stars up outside already :rotfl:

By the way - think we seem to have gotten away with the weather - SO FAR - in this little corner of Scotland fingers xd. Hope everyone else is safe, secure and warm

I've got about £10 worth of coins that are bagged up ready for the bank but I'm tempted to tip them into my pot to encourage me to add to it? What would you do with it?

I would s-l-o-w-l-y add to pot one coin at a time whilst playing 'I'm dreaming of a (wealthy) Christmas 2014 ;)

Potted my Thrifty Thursday £1 today.
