Thanks for your message, I should be in the right place now. I would love to join the sealed pot challenge and have my pot at the ready. I do not have a particular target figure but am hoping to become debt free in 2014 after starting a DMP in 2009 and am pulling out all the stops to achieve this as early in the year as possible.

araminta, aha, so you caught up with us in the end then! It's so good to hear you could quite possibly become debt free during the next year. If you wish to, any money you save with us could go towards it, or you could look forward to whatever else it is you may have plans for. Either way - best wishes!

You're doing well, mumof3plusoh, surprising what a few threats will do eh! Seriously, a £1 saved per day would be wonderful by next Christmas.

You're keeping consistent, purple angel, the best way to save. :A

Try putting sprigs of HOLLY between the branches it favours, it'll soon learn that they can pack quite a punch.

Had a great night out last night with my DW we went for a meal then to watch the Diversity Limitless show, which was brilliant

Hi all,

So far this week I have been panic buying Christmas pressies. (I have a budget and am sticking to it so far). My hold pot still has a £20 note and coins in there so could be a good potting weekend!!:beer:
OH has started to notice that my purse doesn't create cash, he was looking for money the other day and had to; shock horror go to a bank :eek:. On the plus side I still have about £1 in change in there it's obviously not worth stealing. I think that this could be a new plan for me in my save the pennies up campaign.:rotfl:

It's good to hear you're on a budget, claireyfairy, and sticking so firmly to it as you won't regret it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you with that £20! Poor old OH needing to go to the bank, but at least it shows how determined you are to save. Excellent work! :dance:

Hello and a big welcome to all new potters!

I feel sad that my pot is empty so I just popped £1 in there to cheer it up I'm hoping for some money from fleabay sales later on today so that I can pot that too. It won't be much but it all adds up..

Potting?? Yes, I'm on a roll. I like to get in front, ahead of schedule and relax later - that's my strategy. £100 by December 31st would be nice.
Others finish like a train.

Another 2 x £2 coins potted from Morries s/scan tills and 2 x 20p's.
So, another £4.40 added.
