  • Just been over and declared my total on SPC6 meaning I am no longer one of the people stoping the total from being declared :D YAY!!

Starting my new pot off with £20.80 of left over change, £9.91 I've been saving since this new thread started (I didn't want to pot and get it mixed up) and 57p my wonderfully beautiful mother gave me that she had found in road kill :D

Not a bad start to the year :)

I'm keeping my road kill separate this year to see how much I get :D Excited. Going to look extra hard for it.

    Hi Sue-UU

Don't know if I'm just a bit dull, but I can't see my name and number on the bottom of post 5. Sorry! Can you help please?

Siju, I promise you it's nothing to do with you what so ever, more a case of me being a bit dim! :o Forgive me please as I completely forgot about putting you on the list, not just you either as I made the same blunder with araminta! :( So sorry girls, but your names are definitely there now....Nos too.
Oh I dunno its absolutely freezing up here and from the news this morning costal towns up and down country arent getting it much better, If it just snowed and left it there I would be fine but its the freeze on contact cold I cant handle and I am Scottish :rotfl:

Decided I am getting my Little girl to join in the action, we are decorating a tub for her today and I will be giving her monetary rewards to put in for good behaviours like helping out with cleaning her room and eating her meals she is 3 so how would 20p as a reward for each good Behaviour be? Is that mean? Going to go into her savings account at year end.

Sorry shiningfaery, I was forgetting where you lived so I can see your point now. Hibernation it is then.....or you could try ----> :jJumping jacks will keep you warm for sure.

It's a great idea to get your little treasure a pot as well. A/ it would teach her about saving from a very early age and help her immensely when she's older. B/ it's a good idea to help her by encouragement and will make it a lot easier on you to coax her to do things. :A

Brilliant, georgiebrown0! 82p is a great start, do it regularly and you'll be doing so well as the year progresses.

    A good find, Lost!!

Hi, I'm turning into a potting monster! I'm working out the money I'm saving taking lunch to work and throwing it in my jar and I hoovered the sofa last night and found £1.51!! DS2 watched me in disblief..I'd like to say it was because I found money but think it was more to do with the fact I was hoovering :-)

    I also found 20p in my dad's car....finders keepers and all that...../QUOTE]

Don't worry, Jellybaby, we all do the same so - you're normal - no matter what your DS thinks! :D However could potting money saved from homemade lunches NOT be normal, well done you!! You be so happy with all you're doing as you'll achieve a good deal as a result. :T

Debnatric, you did really well with your savings as it if you hadn't saved it, it would probably have got 'blown' anyway. Be happy....I would be too IF you were to pop your No on your siggy - please! Thank you. ;)
Helen's right, you never need to rejoin either, once your're in you're here to stay.

Have a lovely weekend, Ruth, I'll have a surprise please. :rotfl: Yeah, I know, it'll be that much of a surprise that it'll be a shock! :p

You have a good shopping spree too, Lynsey, and I hope all's well now where you are.

All the best with what tomorrow nets you, Loveactually, at least your pot will stop rumbling then. :D

That was an unexpected pot then, claireyfairy, good work! :j

Hi happycrafter, lovely to see you back. By the way, in case you forget, your No is 1037. If you could pop it on your siggy I'd most grateful. Thanks.

By the way, loopychriss, you're already a member and your No is 864. So, I'll take your name away from the latest No and give it to someone else.

    Fantastic saving, sexyshark! :j

Now if that was me who'd demolished choccy like that, mcjordi, hubby would have called me a right greedy gannet, but a fellar doing so!! Just shocking! We've had TWO tins of Quality Lane's here for a couple of months and my willpower has been amazing! :happylove:A I've had a C!urlyw!rly each night instead! :rotfl: Not a bad idea really and saves a fortune. You behave yourself now, mcjordi! :naughty:

Lilmiss, you've done really well in putting a £10er in your pot, well saved! :j

Oh very well done for you, nanto3girls!!! :D

Very consistent, hummingbird, stay like that and you'll be doing marvellously! There's even more from you now as well, you're going great guns!

Right Ruth, I'm on my way over to SPC 6 now!! :D Well done to your Mum. :j We've still got a heck of a lot of people yet who should be declaring, some who quite surprise me too to be honest. They'll roll up, but LATE!!!
Have a good Friday, folks, and have a wonderful weekend!

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart
