Oh I dunno its absolutely freezing up here and from the news this morning costal towns up and down country arent getting it much better, If it just snowed and left it there I would be fine but its the freeze on contact cold I cant handle and I am scottish :rotfl:

Decided I am getting my Little girl to join in the action, we are decorating a tub for her today and I will be giving her monetary rewards to put in for good behaviours like helping out with cleaning her room and eating her meals she is 3 so how would 20p as a reward for each good behaviour be? is that mean? going to go into her savings account at year end.

Hi, I'm turning into a potting monster! I'm working out the money I'm saving taking lunch to work and throwing it in my jar amd I hoovered the sofa last night and found £1.51!! DS2 watched me in disblief..I'd like to say it was because I found money but think it was more to do with the fact I was hoovering :-)

I also found 20p in my dad's car....finders keepers and all that........

Don't forget to put your Sealed Pot Member Number on your Signature....I'm not sure if it's already there....It could be me in my old age not seeing it...LoL...:rotfl:

Afternoon all, nice and calm here now thank God!!

More and more newbies - welcome to you all and good luck with your savings.

I'm well on top of Xmas pressies now, though not many to buy for really.
We're doing a Amex small shops spend tomorrow (£5 cashback from a £10+ spend) to pick up some little extras and eating out. So maybe not much actual cash changing hands tomorrow!!

I managed to pot £2.50, which included another £2 coin.
